had a pre-theatre here and found it both tasty and excellent value. The zucchini starter and meatball starters were delicious as were the chops and pasta mains. Service was very good too. All in all, would recommend. Very handy for both the Royal Conservatoire and the Theatre Royal.

Came here for dinner with my partner. It is a tiny little restaurant with great cozy atmosphere and good food. We had a pizza and a pasta and they were both great!

Impromptu visit (recommended by friend) prior to theatre visit nearby. Convenient for car park and theatre. Looks nothing form outside and whilst inside was typically decorated in Italian trattoria style it was a bit chilly near the door that wouldnt close properly. Menu was good value and adequate in options - even for a vegetarian. Pizza were authentic and tasty... More

A small Italian restaurant opposite the Thistle hotel in Glasgow only 20-30 seats but the food is excellent and staff very good. The pre-theatre menu is excellent value for money and the ala-cart full of traditional meals. Only small draw back is if you are at the table nearest the door it can be a bit draughty, other than that... More

Staff were great, food was ok. Good value. Carbonara was drowning in oil and cream, however squid cooked really well. Atmosphere at the time I went was non existent it was dead. All in all not a bad Italian but limited menu.

Stumbled across Azzurro last night, we were so pleased. Wonderful service delicious food, simple Italian just what we were looking for, will definitely return if/when in Glasgow again. We understand they are very busy pre Theatre so suggest booking to avoid being disappointed as this is a small restaurant.

Visited here with friends for a second time. The 5pm dinner set menu was fantastic value. We'd a bottle of wine, 1 soft drink and each had three course for under £50. I had the Zucchini to start followed by the carbonara. Both with delicious. I was slightly disappointed by the dessert which are obviously bought in. We'll be back.

We ate here twice on a recent visit to Glasgow and the food is to die for and the prices......well it is soooo cheap! We sampled the carbonara, 4 cheese penne pasta, lasagna and a pepperoni pizza and they were all amazing. The portion sizes are very generous, I dare you to try and finish them, u will not need...
