I often eat in Azzurro for lunch as the set menu is overwhelmingly good value. The calamari to start is a huge portion and always comes with lovely light and crisp batter, and my favourite chicken with mushroom sauce is always fantastic too. The chicken is served with a separate dish of fresh vegetables and potato, and overall is a... More

I went as part of a decent sized group for a 40th birthday and I was thoroughly impressed. The staff were friendly and efficient all the way through, and the speed of processing the order (for about 10 people) was very impressive. The food itself was delicious. I had a tomato and mozzarella bruschetta to start, followed by a fungi... More

My wife was looking for a restaurant to go to before a gig we were going to. She found this place on 5pm. We booked the pre theatre 3 course menu. There was a good selection with around seven choices for starter and main. We both had meatballs in tomato sauce with garlic bread to start which was scrumptious. My... More

I had a great evening here with family, it is very near the city centre but is not at all over priced. Lovely food, fast and friendly service, nice atmosphere and most importantly - everything was very authentically Italian!

I took my 13 year old daughter to Glasgow and stayed at the Easy Hotel a few doors down. Having read the reviews we decided to pop in for lunch before tackling some last minute Christmas shopping. At first we were the only ones in the restaurant and it felt a bit weird but after a while a few more... More

Came across this restaurant when looking for a pre theatre meal and managed to get a table - booking in advance is recommended. Had a lovely polish waitress, who was very efficient, very funny and an excellent front of house person. Pre theatre dinner was well priced at £12.50 for 3 courses. We had minestrone and meatballs to start -... More
