What a wonderful evening! The food was lovely, and the waiter, James is a star and absolute credit to the place. His banter and sense of humour made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Went here with my boyfriend because of the great reviews and we were not let down. I had lasagna which was excellent and my boyfriend had the spaghetti carbonara and was on cloud nine after the experience! He described it as the best pasta he'd ever tasted. It's a small place and not in the center of Glasgow, so it's... More

Having passed this restaurant more times than I care to remember en route to Cowcaddens subway, we decided to have give it a go given their excellent value 3 course lunch menu. Can't say that we were disappointed; lovely soup, great main courses and a decent dessert. The ginger could be improved upon though, slightly flat and luke warm but... More

Went here as it appeared to have good reviews and its proximity to the GFT. Did not enjoy at all calamari was ok but mussells were cold on top and watery sauce uninteresting.no spoon or bread offered. My husband had the lasanga and it was no more authentic italian than fly to the moon ! The carrot cake dessert was... More

I only found out about this great wee restaurant because of 5pm.com. I was looking for a pre theatre menu before a show we were going to in the Kings Theatre. The restaurant is in Cambridge street and is quite small inside. That is the only thing that I could say was wrong it and it wasn't really a problem.... More

Booked via 5pm for first visit to this restaurant. The deal itself is the same as the pre-theatre deal but adds 50% discount on wine, beer & soft drinks. From the minute we arrived, I liked.it. Friendly greeting and continued relaxed friendly service added to the lovely genuine italian food and ambience, all made for a great experience. The lunch menu... More

I have now been to Azzurro on 4 occassions and I can honestly say that I have never left disappointed. The service is fast but not rushed, friendly and very personal. The food...phenomenal! One of the thing I love most is the intimate atmosphere, there are a small number of tables and the decor gives you a real feel of... More
