Great Authentic Chinese Food

Visited this restaurant by recommendation on 5 March and was not disappointed. When their website tells you it's the largest restaurant in Scotland.... eh I think you would expect a large open dining area and that's what you get. Not personal & discreet, but its horses for courses. We wanted to... read more

Done some shopping at SeeWoo and decided to try their restaurant about 4.30pm. When we arrived there were only 3 other tables, the place was pretty empty. I'm trying to not be too critical but I think the people that run the restaurant need some proper training for this environment and better people skills. I asked to see the menu... More

If a Chinese colleague recommends a Chinese place, you kinda know it's gonna be good. If you are after lavish interiors, romantic atmosphere and nice surrounding area, SeeWoo may disappoint you. It's a huge hangar next to the oriental supermarket bearing the same name. But when it comes to the cuisine... forget about greasy sh**t they call Chinese food elsewhere.... More

I visited this place at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon.8 customers dining when we came in should have set alarm bells ringing! Waitress was terrible.Table not set and the kids had to go get their own napkins.Had to wave to get any attention from her.The place is like a big farmers shed, bloody freezing too. My daughter had chicken noodle soup... More

Not one for writing reviews but felt the need. Myself and my husband got soup to start which was ok then chicken curry, sauce nice but as for the chicken, didn't taste like any chicken I've had before and the texture was weird. Very slow service. After the meal I went to the toilet and if I had saw them first... More

This is a large down to earth Chinese restaurant . I have been here several times with family and friends. They are attached to a supermarket next door. If the shop has something on offer the restaurant often have a dish with that ingredient on offer too! They do a reasonable dim sum on Sundays . If you like authentic... More

Authentic meal fantastic value for real dim sum. Great having the supermarket next door. You can buy all the ingredients and cook at home. Plenty of free parking outside. Good atmosphere, staff is very helpful.

I discoverd this by chance. It is tucked away in the north of the city. 2 of us had an excellent lunch. We both had hot and sour soup, followed by fried rice, roast duck, belly pork and a sweet roasted pork. All done to perfection. A generosus pot of china tea and 2 slices of gateau came to £21.60...
