Great Place , Nice Atmosphere

We had the 3 course for £19 menu, there were plenty choices to suit everyone. The portion size was just right. Recommend the smoked chicken with lemon pappardelle , delicious. The steak and black pudding pie seemed to be a favourite with many of the diners and was very tasty. My husband had the... read more

The food here is really nice: took my daughter and my mum and dad, we all had something different and it was all excellent. Three courses for £19 and bottles of wine at £12 for the full bottle or £6 for half. We were staying at the Marrot so it was only a stones throw away. Really, really nice.

Folks, this place is a true gem! I've spent several happy dining hours here and will jump at the chance to go back. The 'promo menu' is value for money. Simple as. Seasonal, fresh, varied and always delicious, I enjoy finding out what 'favourites' will return and what new dishes I will be tempted by. My most recent visit was... More

Wonderful food, wide variety of options for everyone. We went as two sets of couples and all got something different that we all enjoyed. I can honestly say this place is very underpriced it's phenomenal what you get for your money. The staff as well are very professional and you feel pampered! 100% recommend and my parents are now going... More

A return to Shandon Belles after a year was no disappointment. The food is delicious and reasonably priced whilst the house wines are perfectly drinkable and great value for money.

This is my second visit to Shandon Belles, first time was christmas lunch with workmates & this time a catch up lunch with one of my good friends. The surroundings and the ambience are inviting, cosy and ideal. The staff were attentive without being overly fussy or intrusive. The mushroom soup and bread with oil and balsamic were yummy. However... More

Visited twice since beginning of the year . Both times I had fish and would say on both occasions it was overcooked which I don't expect from this kitchen. One dish was described as having ' coriander' in the potatoes but this flavour was not evident and made the haddock dish overall a bit bland. Wouldn't put me off returning... More

Visited here for the dual purpose of mine and partner's anniversary, and hogmanay. Food was incredible, staff were mostly attentive (it was difficult to get their attention to pay the bill at the end, but otherwise it was great), and atmosphere was lovely. Would definitely come again.
