The food here was of good quality and we had excellent service. The restaurant was full, with a good atmosphere.

I've been here several times when working in Glasgow. Always good food and an interesting menu. The service is friendly and attentive and it's very good value for money. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

We were a large party here to celebrate a family birthday. This was everyone's first time at Shandon Belles. I chose this restaurant for its menu as everyone in the party had different likes and dislikes. We were not disappointed as the food was of a very high quality and presented in such a lovely way. The staff was attentive... More

As a Party of eight the meal was superb and the staff very attentive without being invasive. My husband is very difficult to please because he is not a great foodie but he loves going to this restaurant both for the quality of the food and the atmosphere. We have been 3 times and have never yet been disappointed, I... More

The setting in the basement of The Buttery was unusual, with stained glass and decorations from a church. Wait staff was attentive and helpful. Appetizers good; my husband & I both had the cod fillet wrapped in parma ham, which was slightly overcooked so that the ham was dry and tough and the fish wasn't very moist. The wine list... More

Our group of 7 adults loved the exquisite cuisine. The place is small and looks quite simple. Great ambience inside, but the location outside is underwhelming.

I recently had my Graduation meal at The Shandon Belles after previously enjoying a wonderful meal here in March. We all had a great night. As with all the Two Fat Ladies restaurants, the food was excellent and the menu had a great selection. The staff were also very accommodating for the two vegeterians in our group, bringing the vegetarian... More

Having recently eaten at "The Fat Ladies" (see previous review) we decided to try out the Shandon Belles (which is based directly below it) during our visit to Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games. We were not disappointed. The whole ambience is much more relaxed (down to paper tablecloths) and the menu somewhat more restricted but the food quality was to... More

We visited this restaurant a year ago and came back for more when we were up in Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games. This is one of our favourite restaurants - the menu is good, the food excellent, the service friendly and attentive and the price amazing. We took a train to Anderston and it's a stones throw from there and... More

I've eaten here 4 times now. It's my go to place in Glasgow. The food is outstanding every time and whoever is working has the same ability to make you feel welcome, provide great service, but not become annoying The £21 deal for 2 courses and a half bottle of wine is exceptional value for what you get Can't recommend...
