Lovely setting for lovely food

We enjoyed the lemon sole and sea bream main courses very much. Both fish being faultlessly cooked. The desserts were delicious, the cherry compote, puff pastry and Chantilly cream being so much more lovely than the description suggested! The service was attentive but not intrusive. Overall our bill of approximately £80 for two mains, two desserts and a bottle of... More

One of the best fish restaurants in Glasgow, consistently good with a wide selection of dishes and plenty of market specials for regulars to manage variation.

I do feel slightly guilty for this review, the wait staff were lovely and friendly but everything was just slow. It took so long to take a drink order that we ordered food at the same time. Trying to ask for the bill also took a significant portion of time. I would also have preferred a larger table. It made... More

Popped in here with a friend for a pre theatre meal. Lovely corner table, nicely set and very comfortable for a catch up over an early dinner. Our choices were soup and goats cheese for starters followed by baked fish for my friend and pan fried (then roasted) chicken for me (a very tasty jus came with the chicken). A... More

Brilliant food as always! Efficient and friendly service. Hard to choose from such a great menu. Favorite spot to go before heading to the Royal Concert Hall.

I enjoyed a delicious lunch with a friend. We chose from a set menu but there was plenty of choice and I would have been happy with a number of options. Smoky, creamy Cullen skink was followed by a delicious hake main course. The wine list was well priced with a house white around the £16 mark. The restaurant is... More

Despite being from Glasgow, this well-established fish restaurant had slipped under our radar, something that we rectified recently. What a good experience we had! It's an itimate wee restaurant that was buzzing on a Saturday lunchtime. While you do have non-fish options, we both had fish mains and they were perfectly cooked and extremely tasty. Friendly waiting staff and a... More

Food was excellent and very creative. Wine choices also excellent. Made a reservation and table was ready upon our arrival. Wait staff attentive and well informed. We will most definitely return next time we are in Glasgow. Oh, did I mention the desserts were also delicious?
