Have eaten here a few times with work, and it has never been all that great, though their restaurant at the Buttery is nice. Most recently we had a business lunch here, it was a Monday (probably not a good idea to eat seafood on a Monday) and there was definitely a smell of less than fresh fish on entering... More

Had the pre/post theatre menu. Great friendly service, perfectly cooked fish and the whisky panacota pudding was amazing. For 3 courses with a decent glass of wine this is great value.

We enjoyed a delightful dinner here in January. From the warm welcome until our departure, we enjoyed every minute. Service was very efficient and staff were very pleasant. The food was delicious particularly the halibut main course, which was just heavenly. This is a lovely little restaurant and I have eaten here many times over the years, during trips to... More

This is a lovely little restaurant with fantastic food and service. We were interested to learn from a member of staff that the TV 'Two Fat Ladies' chefs took their name from the restaurant and not the other way around. Apparently, after dining in one of the other Two Fat Ladies restaurants, the celebrity chefs approached the restaurant owner and... More

We ate at Two Fat Ladies recently and the food was cooked to absolute perfection. We had cullen skink and broccoli and garlic soup to start, Gressingham duck breast (perfectly cooked only slightly pink as requested) and beef fillet for mains and dark chocolate pave and pistachio and lemon cake for dessert. The girl who served us (Laura?) was very... More

Really enjoyed the food here. A group of four of us dined here and every dish chosen was brilliant! Service was very quick. Would definitely visit again.

While on a business trip to Glasgow, three of us went in for dinner. I had high expectations based on the reviews I had read here. It exceeded those expectations for sure! We were able to get a table without a reservation on a weeknight; however, was told that most of the time we should have a reservation. Two of... More

A stylishly cosy restaurant, with attentive but not intrusive service. All the food was cooked to perfection and the portions were perfectly sized. Great choice of wine.
