it is sometime since I dined at this restaurant now that I've been retired for more than 10 years, but my recent invitation to lunch was not disappointing. The warm welcome to this intimate and class establishment was as usual, and the food absolutely superb. It is good value and well worth a visit.......enjoy!

Visited this restaurant with friends. Had been to the other restaurants in Glasgow and liked them so decided to try this one and we weren't disappointed. Lovely atmosphere - very relaxing and staff so friendly. We decided to opt for the lunch set menu as the choice was to our taste. The food was lovely, cooked and presented well. Thoroughly... More

Had an excellent meal here over the weekend. The food and drinks menu is varied. Hendricks served with cucumber - wonderful! We ate from the pre-theatre menu. Immensely good value and delicious food well presented. Cullen Skink was a new one on me (a kind of chowder!) and it was yummy and warming. The main course was v good. One... More

My wife and I had a lovely pre-theatre meal here on a Friday night. The restuarant is very nice and the staff pleasant and attentive. As Two Fat Ladies is known for fish and sea food we both stuck to these items on the menu. However, even on the restricted Pre-theatre menu there were good option for fish and non-fish.... More

Visited on a Thursday night, slightly taken aback on arrival, quite a small restaurant and fairly cramped. Certainly an older clientele (majority 50+) when we were there (we're mid-30s). BUT.... The food was brilliant, really impressed, had salmon starter, chicken main course, lemon cheese cake dessert, wife had scallops, duck and toffee pudding. All great, plates completely cleared. Service decent,... More

This was our third visit to the restaurant in as many years. On this occasion we chose from the pre-theatre menu. The choice was great. Our meal was outstanding. We eat out now & again & are often disappointed. Being reasonably good cooks ourselves, we are often let down by the quality of the food we are served when eating... More

Tried this lovely restaurant with my sister and cousin after reading reviews on Trip advisor, staff were very friendly and helpful in helping us pick food and places to see in Glasgow. Food was beautiful and reasonably priced 2-3 courses + wine was around £30 each for 3 of us. Would recommend for anyone who wants to try Scottish cuisine... More

Being a regular at the GFT nearby this is always handy before or after the film. Food always of a good standard and tasty. Only minus for me is the smell of dampness coming from the back depending on where you sit which is a bit off-putting when you're eating.
