Loved it!

My husband and I popped in after a shopping trip for lunch. I ordered from the lunch menu and my husband from the a la carte menu. Food was fab! Cullen skink, chicken and sticky toffee pudding were all spot on and my husbands steak too! House wine was nice and not over priced. Staff were... read more

There is mainly fish in the menu in great variety and interesting preparations. The Cullen skink was delicious, creamy and yet light so were the seared scallops. Both our mains were beautifully presented and tasted very good. We struggle chosing a pudding as they all sounded very good and were not disappointed by the Scottish twist of cheesecake on shortbread... More

Our first night in Glasgow we walked from our hotel to this charming small restaurant (having made a reservation; it's so small this is probably a good idea). My husband had trout (i.e., salmon) and I had lemon sole, which was absolutely incredible. Our broccoli starter was excellent too. The bread was amazing. Really wonderful food.

Small compact well presented restaurant, the staff were great and the food very nice. Mainly fish based menu, but along with our dishes all the food being presented to others also looked very appetising. Lovely glass of wine to accompany the meal and a delicious coffee to finish.

Fantastic location for a leisurely lunch experience. The lunch menu is exceptional value however the quality of food remains exceptional - fresh inventive and fishy! Staff are always welcoming and professional - always try to visit during a trip to Glasgow.

2nd visit to this small restaurant and as on our first visit food and service was excellent. Lovely intimate atmosphere in very pleasant surroundings.

I am pleased to say that on our second visit to a two fat ladies restaurant in Glasgow , we were not in the least disappointed, but rather delighted at the generally high standard of both the service and food quality . What was to be a celebratory lunch proved to be just that , the attentive but non obtrusive... More

From the moment my mother and I walked in the door we received a warm welcome and felt immediately relaxed. Wonderful fresh seafood available and the service was attentive, friendly and quick. Loved that the coffees came with free tablet, shame we were both too stuffed to eat it! The atmosphere was very chilled and music playing fitted in perfectly.... More

The menu is very fish orientated and when we visited there was only one non-fish main course which some people might find off-putting. Food was well presented & nicely cooked. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. Prices are quite high for what you get especially the wine. The constant jazz background music was not to my taste at all.

Small and cosy, nice fresh food, helpful service. Not too expensive for lunch - and sometimes good deals to be had.
