I returned to The Two Fat Ladies restaurant in Blythswood Street, Glasgow last Friday evening with all of my family (19 in total) to celebrate my daughters graduation. What a wonderful night we all had. We were concerned that we might not be able to find something on the menu that my father would order, as he is quite fussy.... More

Book it. Just around 10 tables. Fish dishes. European standard. Good service. Well presented dishes. Fair wine list.

Book a table. Just around 10 tables. Good quality food. Well presented dishes. Parisienne look. You can choose between a la carte menu or pre/post theatre fixed price. Deffo a benchmark for fish in Glasgow city centre

Totally blown away by this place! Was a bit apprehensive at first as not a huge lover of fish but they had a chicken dish on which was tasty as any I've eaten. Potatoes on the side veg very nice The seating layout makes for a very intimate atmosphere so congrats to the architect! Service was friendly and efficient on... More

Midweek visit, nice staff, relaxed atmosphere, slightly tight for space, toilets cramped and disconcerting near open stacks of vegetables. Starters on the mean side (£9.95 for three queen scallops, half a slice of black pudding and a smear of apple sauce and £7.75 for a very ordinary smoked mackerel pate), mains of salmon and fillet of beef were lovely. Sweets... More

We went to Glasgow for a day trip from Edinburgh. We had dinner at Two Fat Ladies (city center on Blythswood St.). The food was very good. Service was prompt, professional, and friendly. Atmosphere was nice and not too loud. Easy to hold conversation. All told, very nice choice.

Wow, just wow! What an amazing meal I had at this restaurant. The food was absolutely excellent - best cullen skink I have ever tasted in my life. You could taste how fresh the ingredients were. I had chicken with haggis for main and again exquisite quality and taste. Can I also recommend the sticky toffee pudding - seriously tasty,... More

Was up in Glasgow to see Prince at The Hydro and wanted something to avoid having to pay £20 for a concert Pizza. I have worked in Glasgow and tried most of the decent restaurants over the years. Fancied sea food and was going to go to Gambas which is always good. 2 fat ladies was recommended by a friend.... More
