2 Fat ladies never disappoints - always good, particularly the seafood and both scallops and lemon sole cooked perfectly.

We made the reservation based on an onion soda bread recipe a friend brought back from dining at Two Fat Ladies at the Buttery in Glasgow a few years ago. I emailed and reserved a couple of months ahead of our trip and my waiting time was well rewarded by the delicious meal I enjoyed at the Two Fat Ladies.... More

Being fans of Two Fat Ladies at The Buttery we thought we would try its sister restaurant. We were a bit disappointed. The Cullen Skink was a bit watery and could have had more fish and fewer vegetables. Both fish mains were swimming in far too much sauce for our taste and the cod was rather salty. That said the... Delicious seafood, dessert and wine. Enjoyed everything about this restaurant. If you have a chance it's definitely worth a visit. Would recommend the Swordfish with risotto.

Quite simply the best beef fillet and duck mains we have ever had! The Scotch beef was wonderfully tender with a delicious pepper and whisky sauce. The duck was sublime, perfectly cooked and the sauce with cherry and pancetta was a delicious combination. Everything was first rate. Attentive service too! This was our first time at Two Fat Ladies and... More

Pre theatre, before a movie, and where better to go,especially with the great early evening deal of 2 courses + a glass of wine at less than £20. Cullen skink sumptious and rich;and the John Dory with risotto full of flavour and just the perfect portion size.Staff attentive, and friendly....what more can you ask?! Only wish the movie had been as good-it was... More

We ate here following a recommendation in a national newspaper and so glad we did. Fortunately we'd made a reservation because the restaurant was full of diners having the pre-theatre menu which looked amazing and excellent value. I had the scallops and black pudding starter, the scallops were cooked to perfection and the black pudding was the best I've ever... More

With having friends up from Liverpool and Drymen, we wanted to start the day on the right note and 2Fatladies did not disappoint. With being seated, served and drinks with in minutes, things just got better when the food arrived after a great recommendation by the Manager. The duck was delishes as was the scallops and black pudding. With the relaxed... More

We happened across this restaurant on our way into the city centre, and I'm REALLY pleased we did. The service was friendly and welcoming, the staff doing whatever they could to help. The food was traditional with a modern twist and was really tasty. The name of the restaurant is intriguing, but when we asked if there was any connection... More
