Pre theatre, before a movie, and where better to go,especially with the great early evening deal of 2 courses + a glass of wine at less than £20. Cullen skink sumptious and rich;and the John Dory with risotto full of flavour and just the perfect portion size.Staff attentive, and friendly....what more can you ask?! Only wish the movie had been as good-it was... More

We ate here following a recommendation in a national newspaper and so glad we did. Fortunately we'd made a reservation because the restaurant was full of diners having the pre-theatre menu which looked amazing and excellent value. I had the scallops and black pudding starter, the scallops were cooked to perfection and the black pudding was the best I've ever... More

With having friends up from Liverpool and Drymen, we wanted to start the day on the right note and 2Fatladies did not disappoint. With being seated, served and drinks with in minutes, things just got better when the food arrived after a great recommendation by the Manager. The duck was delishes as was the scallops and black pudding. With the relaxed... More

We happened across this restaurant on our way into the city centre, and I'm REALLY pleased we did. The service was friendly and welcoming, the staff doing whatever they could to help. The food was traditional with a modern twist and was really tasty. The name of the restaurant is intriguing, but when we asked if there was any connection... More

Booked this restaurant for our wedding anniversary before a trip to the theatre. Food was very tasty but my starter portion (scallops) was very small for the price. Please also consider that as this is a small restaurant you are very, very close to the people at the next tables. Makes it difficult not to overhear conversations!

We dined from the a la carte menu, although the pre-theatre menu was nice too. The choice is not particularly large, but we both agreed that we could have enjoyed almost every option. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Our food was served promptly, but we never felt hurried. We had scallops and Cullen skink to start with -... More

Back after 2 weeks in Glasgow at Commonwealth Games. What splendid organisation and such a friendly atmosphere. Rounded off with a superb meal at Two Fat Ladies on Sat. Evening. Excellent choice of food, good helpful service and a decent house wine.

I returned to The Two Fat Ladies restaurant in Blythswood Street, Glasgow last Friday evening with all of my family (19 in total) to celebrate my daughters graduation. What a wonderful night we all had. We were concerned that we might not be able to find something on the menu that my father would order, as he is quite fussy.... More
