First off have to say the food was good when we went to the Buttery for Sunday Lunch. No complaints on this front nor with the olde world ambience of the place, but.... the waiting staff seemed a little rushed and/or inattentive causing delays between courses that we felt could be eliminated by... read more

We booked on an Itison deal and it was one of the best deals we have experienced. The food was first rate and the service impeccable. We have eaten here before and had high expectations and we were not disappointed. This must be among the best restaurants in Glasgow.

TFL at the Buttery is great, a trip in to a dying way of dining where the service is excellent, the atmosphere discrete and the background music audible but quiet. Ok it will suit clients of " a certain age" but it is a delight. The downside, if there is one, is getting to it! It's in a housing area... More

We had the pleasure of eating at The Two Fat Ladies at the Buttery on the 31 st of Jan, we were a party of 8 which was a last minute change due to my son and 3 of his uni pals requiring fed! TFLATB were very accommodating and welcomed us warmly. The service was attentive but not overly, the... More

Located in what feels like a dubious area close to the motorways but once inside what I guess was formerly a boozer is an oasis of culinary delight. Superb food and service. Some great Scottish dishes - I had the amazing haggis and steak. Very chic, comfortable and relaxed. Service spot on for our table of 6. Would go again

Had the pre-theatre menu on Tuesday before going to the hydro to see the Corrs. Great start to the night. Amazing food, fantastic decor and brilliant staff. Thank you so much. Will visit again soon. Very soon.

We were pleased to be able to visit this restaurant via an Itison deal, recommended by our daughter. What a wonderful deal it was too and nothing seemed too much trouble for the very professional staff. We were made to feel welcome and special even with the deal. Lovely fish menu, could not manage a desert unfortunately. Next time will... More

We enjoyed a lovely lunch courtesy of a very good value itison deal. We would certainly purchase the deal again in the future or come for lunch or pre theatre as that too is very good value for money. I think the a la carte menu might be a bit pricey but our deal was great value and the food... More

Wow we were so pleasantly surprised! We were welcomed as soon as we walked in , coats taken , escorted to our table. The food was incredible. The drinks delicious! Service was impeccable . The decor lovely. I could not fault any part of this restaurant. Even the bill was surprisingly reasonable. I highly recommend this place!
