From the outset the service was impeccable and we were made to feel very welcome. We were greeted at the door and sat down at the bar area where we perused the... More

This is my favourite restaurant in Glasgow and I had the great fortune to have lunch here twice last week. By coincidence two lots of friends wanted to have overdue lunches and I simply couldn't resist. Life is so hard! There is always a very pleasant welcome from staff and it's very relaxing to wait in the bar area with... More

Well what can I say, never been in a restaurant that has an early 1900 setting however liked it very much.I had the risotto for starters very good,my other half had the ravioli and again lovely.Mains I had the Mignon's of beef, cooked to perfection and was struggling to finish it.The misses wired into the Guinea fowl and gave it top marks.No... Visited at 1930 on a Saturday for anniversary meal. Greeted warmly at the door I was very impressed with the set up of the place. Relaxed bar area at the front leading to the restaurant through the back. Started off with a couple of drinks while perusing the menu. Shown to a nice little corner table and enjoyed the complimentary... More

I have been lucky enough now to have been at the Buttery on 3 occasions, both lunch and dinner, and I must admit each time it has been fantastic. The food has been exceptional- each course is the perfect size and you can always fit in dessert. Well priced lunch & early evening menu as well as the a la... More

Strange location but the interior is beautiful, very stylish. The service was great, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would say this was one of if not the best restaurants I have been to. The food was the best too. I had duck, perfect, my husband had a steak which was also... More

Traditional decor. Lovely atmosphere. Very good service. Fine glasses, silver cutlery, cloth tablecloths and napkins, all set the tone for the quality of this restaurant. The food lived up to expectations and I'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful meal here . The food was excellent, Rack of lamb was delicious, the staff were very attentive. I liked the sweet selection brought out at the end of our meal . With happy anniversary written in chocolate on the plate . We Will be back.
