Treated as a valued patron. Even at pre theatre when some places treat u like third class citizens. Food was excellent only one complaint was that there could be more sauce with the mains.all in all very good

Doesnt look much from outside but this restaurant is a must visit. Very traditional interior with quiet booths for privacy. Staff very couteous and friendly. Our meal was delicious - probably the best scallops I have ever had. Portions generous too my halibut was so fresh while my husband really enjoyed his steak cooked just as he had ordered (not... We were charmed by the quaint cosiness of this restaurant, it is both old fashioned & trendy, the setting is intimate, quirky & cosy. Staff are superb - friendly & professional. The only downside is that we weren't as taken with the food as other reviewers seem to have been, our meals were pretty average. However we enjoyed the place... More

Have just returned home after a meal for eight...amazing. Even though it was a special offer deal, nothing was too much trouble. Food, service, ambience fantastic for all three generations. Highly recommended 😊

The settin at the butter was very welcoming and cozy. The servers were very friendly and efficient. The prawn and spinach appetizer was outstanding as was the lemon sole and apple dessert. Overall this was an excellent meal in a well run establishment.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Glasgow and I've been several times during my time up here. The food is always very good. The menu sometimes feels a little short but I always find a few dishes to entice me. The service is generally always good (though a recent visit felt like we had a nervous work experience... More

I was in Glasgow for a conference and staying at the Marriott Hotel. I heard good things about Two Fat Ladies but could not get a reservation the first night I tried. Fortunately for me the second time we tried there was a table available. My colleague and I both chose to go with the theater pre fixe menu, under... More

Eat here on Thursday 6th November as part of a part of seven at 8 o clock. Great atmosphere, superb staff. Service is attentive but not intrusive. The food is superb, the menu is varied with starters, mains and deserts to appeal to every palate. I would recommend the Buttery to anyone.
