We came here with the inlaws, as a nice dinner, and were not disappointed. Everything was very good - the service was great. We had been put in a booth to start with; we asked to change to a proper table, as my mother-in-law has mobility issues, and we were moved straight away. The food was gorgeous. Put it this... More

Went along for joint celebration. The food was excellent, we had scallops and prawns for starter. Then chicken and fish of the day for mains. The original plan was to have the sharing platter for dessert that we'd seen pictures of, but in the end with fullish bellies we resisted. Staff were very attentive, never letting our glasses get empty... More

This was a big night for us: a once-in-a-lifetime vacation to Scotland, and a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the night we met (has it really been that long?). The restaurant did not disappoint and the experience was everything we hoped it might be. The staff did everything they could to make it memorable, and the food and wine... More

We took my parents for their 60th wedding anniversary and enjoyed a great evening. Food, service and ambience were all fantastic. The personalised touches (wedding photo printed on menu, decorated plates) were lovely and my parents felt quite special . Staff were very attentive, and the decor is quite homely,(carpets and tablecovers - a rarity nowadays) made it feel as... More

I went for lunch with some colleagues. I had the salad with mushrooms and balsamic vinaigrette and the soup of the day. All was served in a timely manner and was super tasty. The bread they served was also very good.

I suppose we might be classed as regulars in here as we celebrate any special occasions and then we do lunch when we feel the need! We are always more than happy with the food the service and the decor. Can't wait for our next visit!

Located outside the city centre this restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in Glasgow. We went here for a celebratory dinner and absolutely loved it. Great service, lovely atmosphere and really fine food. It is a bit more upmarket, but worth every penny!

Was there for a business dinner with a group of 5. Very small cosy place, quite eclectic charged decoration/. Very smooth and efficient service. Food was very tasty. I had the Scottish beef…It was excellent so tender and perfectly serve. A very good address.

Tucked away under the motorway, you wouldn't expect to find a fine restaurant here, and it looks like nothing from the outside, but step in and it is wonderfully quaint with lots of old wood and ornaments on shelves. The crockery and cutlery doesn't match. They must pick it up from car boot sales or something, but that too is... More

I can confirm that the other reviews are accurate: no sense repeating them. I will add that they have a good selection of fine whiskies (mainly single malt) at very reasonable prices, similar to those in 'pubs. The surroundings are restful with a feeling of understated elegance.
