Took a mix of customers and staff for an evening meal here in mid December. Had never been and booked on gut feeling. Arrived shown our table straight away. Staff are just amazing and a great varied menu with wine list to match. Highly recommend this establishment for a romantic meal as well as a group booking.

We ate here a few days ago. We had the pre-theatre before heading to the theatre. For once, we used the pre-theatre for pre-theatre. There were three of us. The food was very good. The service was attentive and swift. We would go there again apart from the constant upselling meant we were continually on our guard again being conned.... More

Apparently this restaurant has been voted the best Italian restaurant in Glasgow for the last two years. It's easy to see why! The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant is very pleasant. The food was excellent - I had a bruschetta to start, rib-eye steak for the main and gelato for dessert. Each course was delicious, fresh, well portioned and... More

We recently visited La Lanterna on our stay in Glasgow. The meals we ordered were delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good Italian food. We will certainly visit again on our next outing to Glasgow.

We were the first customers in the restaurant so it was rather quiet! We booked the pre-theatre menu in advance, which included a glass of Prosecco and 2 courses and a coffee for £14 or including dessert for £18. The food was nice, and the waiters were attentive, perhaps overly-so as the restaurant was not busy at the time!

Lovely atmosphere, very good food and superb wine. Another Glasgow tradition that we hadn't been to for many years, don't know why. Very glad a friend suggested it and will add to our list of preferred restaurants. Waiting staff were excellent and everything that was ordered met our expectations, all plates left clean and tidy. Certainly worth a visit if... More

The food here was good but, physically, the place itself was cramped with tables far too near each other. Also, the chairs were far too small for comfort.

Been many times over many years with family and friends , this is a wonderful restaurant ,and Chris has done well to keep up the high standards with all the upcoming restaurants in town now . This is shown by how busy this place has remained over the years .

We ordered off the set menu and were pleased to discover this wasn't too restrictive with the options available. The food, service and atmosphere were all great and we will definitely be visiting again.
