Great food... and atmosphere :)

We ordered off the set menu and were pleased to discover this wasn't too restrictive with the options available. The food, service and atmosphere were all great and we will definitely be visiting again.

We didn't book but got a table on a busy Saturday evening. The table was in an alcove at the entrance and although lots of "traffic" didnt bother us at all. Its a fixed menu for two and three courses. Good choice on the menu but restrictive if you only want one course. Service was good, lots of regulars who... More

The calamari starter was perfectly cooked and the side salad was beautiful. I then had the herb crusted sea bass. Again... More

Old fashioned Italian. Good service. Huge menu - might be worrying but I kept to simple classics and it was good. Would be happy to return.

This is my favourite trad Italian now that L'Ariosta is no more. Found in a basement just outside Central it is always packed and lively. Good value lunch and pre theatre set menus. Note there's no pizza or fries here ! Great seafood and risotto. Cheesecake is the best anywhere. Only thing that isn't traditional is the tiramisu which has... More

Wandered in of the street and managed to get a table...was busy, fast service, pleasant staff and great wine...rushed the dessert because that took awhile long than hoped but still recommend.

After reading lots of great reviews on here myself and my friend decided to try have dinner here last night. Straight away we both felt unwelcome by front of house....his manner and tone not very friendly. The restaurant was empty but still we were stuck right in the corner at back of restaurant where we were forgotten about. Not sure... More
