They managed to squeeze us in to the cramped restaurant next to a very loud table of six. Despite the fact they were annoying... More

The Diddles were here last Saturday with the brother and sister-in-law. We received a warm welcome and were ushered to our table. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout or meal and the service was excellent despite the restaurant being busy. I was a little concerned that there wouldn't be a wide choice from the fixed menu however there were... More

My wife and I went for dinner last evening after reading high reviews for this establishment. Unfortunately not a happy story. You almost know from the start when a dining experience starts going bad and seems to carry on that way right to the end. We were seated at a table for 2 amongst larger groups of six or more.... This was our first visit, and we were delighted that we chose to eat here. Excellent Italian food in delightful authentic surroundings, served by welcoming and attentive staff. Special mention for the pennette alla barese and the zabaglione alla marsala, as well as the two free glasses of prosecco we were given for booking online. Prices were very reasonable, however... Business time lunch for stressed office workers. Service was prompt and the lunchtime specials as good as ever This is a reliable food stop in a cozy authentic osteria which has a nice buzz without it being too noisy Wine selections very good and overall fairly priced.
