LOVELY NIGHT OUT WITH FAMILY

This was our first visit to this restaurant the food was lovely and plenty of it perhaps a little too much, Starter of Pakkora for one is enough for two as main courses are large too. The food was lovely the staff attentive but we feel more time is needed our table was for 6.00pm the next sitting... read more

We enjoyed a delicious, cruelty free meal at around teatime when it was very quiet. The tarka dhal, vegetable bhuna and aloo chana were aromatic and flavoursome, with a delicate balance of herbs and spices we have come to love about Indian food. We booked this restaurant after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. The evening went fine and the food was good but when we asked for coffee's we were told the bar was shut and the coffee machine was behind the bar. I thought the guy was joking as it was only 9.45pm on a Saturday evening but he was quite serious.... More

Really enjoyed our meal here. We had not booked, but they kindly fitted us in. Saw on Trip Advisor it had excellent reviews. We were not disappointed. Food was excellent. Staff were so attentive. Very good gluten free choice.

As soon as we walked in you could feel the warm welcome you received from the owner! The food was absolutely first class and you don't need me to say this! just look at the wall... More

This was a slight step back in time as the restaurant serves " good old fashioned Indian restaurant style food" in big helpings and not " tapas " style portions as many of the newer restaurants do. All the food was good. I particularly enjoyed the "Charcoals special mixed tandoori " sizzling dish. But beware the bill ! There was... More

Walked past here with my daughter one early Saturday evening. The smell lured us in though we were heading to a different type of restaurant to eat at that point. Although we hadn't booked, and they looked extremely busy, the waiter said they had one vacant table though it was booked for an hour and a half later. We took... More
