Simply Amazing

A small store with a sufficient amount of tables. Excellent food, a very welcoming waitress. The food was well cooked and the dessert was amazing as well. I really enjoyed it. The food is always great, with a good seasonal choice, and very reasonably priced. The service is efficient and friendly. On our recent visit the house red was superb . We took Swiss visitors and they were very impressed all round

I felt quite lucky to have gotten a seat here on the fly. It was just because I was quite early - just waltzed by the restaurant and thought it looked lovely and rustic. However, they weren't open yet, so they said to come back in an hour and they would seat me. Normally I wouldn't have bothered staying, I... More

We started as 2 going for dinner and ended up as 5, there was no issue in short notice change to our table arrangements. Service was great as was the food. We were advised before hand that if we didn't have starters we would have at least a 45 min wait for food to be cooked from fresh...it was worth... More

Lovely warm welcome. Cosy dining room. Tremendous tasty food. Short wine list but excellent suppliers obviously. Enjoyed everything. Well done to everyone who made it such a pleasurable evening.

This was our second visit to Number 16, the first being last october when the restaurant was #1 in Glasgow on Tripadvisor. We loved this restaurant a lot the first time and we were really excited to come back. The last time we were here we sat downstairs and wondered what upstairs was like.... Well this time round we got... More

This would be the second time I had visited number 16 within the last year. If it was anything to go by last time, I was definitely looking forward to trying what they had to offer this time round. Upon entering. The decor is light and welcoming, nice colours and paintings everywhere. The restaurant is not as big as you... More

We have been meaning to visit Number 16 for a long time, and decided to do so after a visit to Kelvingrove Museum. Three of us visited for lunch and were absolutely delighted with both the meal and the service. We all started with the mozzarella - wonderfully tangy salad on the side. To follow, we had one rainbow trout,... More
