This is a cosy wee restaurant with excellent service. We were given 3 wines to taste when we asked for the house red, to see which we preferred. The homemade rolls , served with butter and oil are really good. I had a beetroot and goat's cheese tartlet to start, followed by braised oxcheek. We then shared a really yummy... More

Stopped by for lunch after seeing it top of the league on trip adviser, found the service to be warm & friendly with a varied selection on the lunch menu. When the food arrived it both looked & tasted stunning. Looking forward to my next visit.

Four of us dined at 16 on a Saturday afternoon. The service was exceptionally attentive . The menu had someting for everyone. All of us were absolutely deligthed with the quality of the food, its presentation and the value for money it offered. Number 16 is undoubtedly at the top of its game not just on a scottish platform but... More

I really wasn't expecting much when visiting this place and was pleasantly surprised by the food. The menu is very simple which I loved and the presentation of it all was lovely. There was a really nice cosy and relaxed feeling in the place and the waiter was very attentive. Considering it was only about £15 for 3 courses, I... More

Our favourite small restaurant in the westend of Glasgow, especially for lunch! Menu is small but eclectic, which is perfect for us. In Glasgow westend you are spoilt for choice, but everything about this place is great - menu, wine, staff, prices, location! Don't miss it - try the Hendricks and cucumber.

Great little restaurant. We came as a large party for a birthday as out of town group. Very friendly welcome, great food for a mixed set of tastes. Scottish produce used in an inventive way. Often fusion can be disappointing but they carried it off well. Funnily enough only downside was unlike many restaurants who are on the sell re... More

Food was wonderful, I have only one issue, I could have eaten so much more. The portions were a tad on the small side.

Having booked well in advance and looking forward to dinner from previous reviews for me Number 16 did not live up to expectations. Arrived and shown kind of to our table told it was the one upstairs on the far right. So no drink order taken we were after a few minutes given some water then the wine list arrived.... More
