Visited for the first time with my wife for dinner. Place is tiny but feels cosy and very welcoming. Food and service were both outstanding leaving us both thinking about when we would next return. My one and only recommend would be to offer something a little more innovative on the bread front. Thank you for a fantastic evening.

Haven't been here in a few years but was well worth a return this weekend. Very small location but great atmosphere, attentive staff and excellent food. Glad I remembered to book! Food combinations very imaginative and creative and the courses we had all certainly worked. Will definitely return , but much sooner next time.

This restaurant is in the west end of Glasgow, at the end of Byres Rd, a two minute walk from the subway station at Kelvinhall. The place is tiny, with only a few tables downstairs and a few more upstairs, so I would definitely book. Without us having to ask, we were each provided with a glass of water, which... More

Went put for a birthday meal with my daughter, restaurant has two floors, it's not too big but that adds to the ambience, the food was delicious, and very well presented, we chose from the A La Carte menu, while it's not that extensive, it's varied and has something to suit everyone's tastes, a real plus for me is that... Number 16 is a small restaurant not too far away from Glasgow University (about 10 minute walk). It has a limited number of seats (probably 10-15 in the ground floor and some upstairs), so I think booking in advance is a must. I had dinner here with a friend today and we saw at least one party sent away who... More

Whilst not the largest restaurant in Glasgow No 16 makes up for it with friendly efficient service supported by excellent food at extremely good value. This place is a real gem and people were being turned away on a Tuesday night so booking is essential.

In a recent visit to Glasgow four of us enjoyed dinner at this charming restaurant. The food, service and ambience all were great and reminded us of restauants we enjoy in San Francisco's North Beach area. We sat upstairs and had the benefit of a cool breeze and street view through the open windows.

This place is a little gem in every sense. From the food with its fusion of flavours and attention to detail through to the first class friendly but professional staff. Would definitely return and would most definitely recommend anyone to pay a visit. I'd recommend booking as it does get booked up fast.

This is a delightful restaurant:it is small but is artistically and imaginatively decorated. The menu echoes this imagination with a fresh, contemporary combination of ingredients producing delicious results. The service was quick but relaxed with no pressure to hurry our meal. The lovely waitress-despite being busy-was even happy to answer our questions about the supplier of the pretty handmade pottery on the table.Overall,a most...
