Lovely restaurant to drop in for a coffee and scone, or spend a little more time and have lunch. Their menu is always a treat and makes the choice of what to have very difficult . Staff are lovely, nothing is a problem and you can take your time . It is worth dragging yourself away from Byres road and... More

We were lucky enough to win a meal voucher for this restaurant. What a pleasant surprise. Thanks to someone's generous donation we have found a wee gem near the west end.

Fabulous choice on menu - everything cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful. There's a lovely cosy ambience to the restaurant and I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Went here with my husband on Saturday night and have to say that our meal was excellent! The highlight for me was the Stornoway black pudding and poached egg starter, which was so good, I could have eaten another one! My main of roast cod was also delicious (especially the lentils!). My husband had parsnip gnocchi to start then roast... More

We had not visited here for a while because sometimes you feel you should try other places but on Saturday night we returned and I am pleased to say it remains as superb as ever! The staff are brilliant, it is so well run, and the food is fabulous. Lovely ambience, great welcome, I definitely will not stay away so... More

My wife and I ate here today. Given that we both had the January blues, it was snowing and the roads to the restaurant were congested with roadworks and delays everywhere. What a start. However, the staff were so cheery and friendly they lifted our spirits immediately we entered. The food elevated the experience to another level. Good local produce... More

The food here is first class but booking essential as it is not very big. Try not to sit near the door as a chill wind comes in when it opens. The service is good and the food exceptional. I can recommend the Cullen Skink, quite the best I have ever eaten.

We booked a table for two. Food was very good and there was a lunch deals for 2 or 3 course. Service was good but we had to wait at least 30minutes for lunch.

Looking for mood lifter in grey- literally and metaphorically-first days of January. Booked pre-theatre meal, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Husband particularly enjoyed fishcake starter and very chocolatey chocolate pithivier. As he likes red and I white wine , 2 glasses of each proved significantly dearer than one bottle. However, both red and white wines [red house wine, white Sauvignon] were v... More
