Lovely restaurant

A varied menu, it was hard to choose what to have! Delicious food, attentive staff, altogether an excellent place to eat

Went with a group and had Table d'Hote lunch menu. Choice not huge but varied and of excellent quality. Everything was cooked to perfection and staff very courteous and friendly. Good atmosphere also and will definitely return.

Four of us dined here for Evening Dinner and each of us really enjoyed the Food. Although the Restaurant was full the service from Erinn was excellent. The Fayre on offer covered all bases for us with Seafood & Steak that were well presented & Delicious. Deserts were Fresh & Tasty, the Brûlée is Fab. The Prices are on point... More

This was my second visit and my opinion has not improved. It was a first visit for my daughter and niece who weren't overly impressed. I'll start with the good points.. The starters of smoked salmon and a vegitarian salad were fabulous. They were beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. The lady who cleared these and showed us to our table... More

We were there on Thursday of last week for the second time in a month and again the food was special. We had crab / salmon as starters and chicken / bream for main. It is just the best quality ingredients, well prepared food in a relaxed atmosphere. Compliments to all those involved

My first visit here with a friend who goes quite often. We both enjoyed the set lunch which was very reasonably priced. The chicken was delicious as was the sticky toffee pudding. Nice atmosphere. Friendly & efficient service. Would go again.

We've never been disappointed at Wee Lochan. A cross between a cafe and restaurant that serves excellent Scottish fayre. Try Stornoway Black Pudding, Cullen Skink or French Onion Soup to start with....

Took our order didn't ask about drinks then asked my partner what she wanted and asked if that was for both off us. Not what I'd come to expect here and I am really disappointed as love... More

Hi Ian, First off I am very sorry for your poor experience at Wee LOCHAN. We aim at all times for a high standard of service which is professional and above all friendly. Clearly we fell way short of that on this occasion. Indeed, as you mentioned in both your facebook postings made to us while you were actually in... More

This was my first visit to the Wee Lochan and it really was excellent. The menu is not huge but it was still difficult to choose as there were all things I liked. I'm glad I chose the goats cheese soufflé was just amazing, the other starters were all really good, scallops with crispy chorizo and lime were very tasty... More
