Worth seeking out

Visited on a busy Saturday evening with a group of friends. It doesn't have the largest menu in the world but the dishes we had were very good. You must try the haggis pakora! My Ashton Lane beef curry was deliciously succulent in a piquant sauce. The butter chicken was also a big hit. The only... read more

We had dinner here last night after a while away. Whilst this is indeed a small restaurant no doubt with limited kitchen facilities, the menu had not changed much from our previous visit. There did not seem to be any daily specials as i remembered previously. I had the south Indian Garlic chilli chicken made with diced meat which was... More

An unusual, but imaginative, menu. Very different to stereotypical 'indian' menu. Would recommend the fish dishes. A tiny restaurant providing an intimate dining experience. Staff very friendly. Limited drinks menu, however you can bring your own wine. Note access is via a very steep set of stairs.

Excellent restaurant with a super atmosphere due to the size. The staff are fantastic especially Manager Jamie they make the whole experience. The Fish and Pea Pakora and Lamb and Leek Curry Are a must. Currry lovers will adore this small and quaint restaurant

Small menu but food excellent and if you're eating early Sun-Thu then they do a great deal with 2 smaller dishes, rice & chapati for £6.25. BYOB option too. Can get VERY busy & noisy so a good option at non- peak times because it always has some people in it to give atmosphere.

Had the thali lunch , £5.80 for two courses , not huge portions but good for a lunch. Pretty high standard , pleasant surroundings and good service.

One of the best in Glasgow and that's saying something (in the top three i'd say). Good selection, attentive staff and reasonably priced. Al & Rose

We had lunch in the wee curry shop at Aston lane today and as usual everything was great. Good friendly staff and excellent food, very fair price. We were made to feel very welcome , it was a relaxed atmosphere with no presure. Just the way we like it. Thanks wee curry shop ,

Really enjoyed our late lunch here.....it's kind of indian tapas with 4 small dishes between us. Food was very tasty - with a couple of drinks and a chapati each it was not much more than £20.
