Very Wee (but big on taste)

Charming little restaurant. Lovely décor, interesting pictures on the wall. Delightfully small so very intimate but if you get a loud group in it can be rather disturbing. Food is excellent although not a great deal to choose for vegetarians. Service is attentive . Price is very reasonable. Would... read more

Lovely wee (small) indian restaurant in the West end of Glasgow. Very nice food, and very good value. The restaurant is busy on week end nights so book in advance. Try the fish/potatoes/peas pakoras !

Another of Ashton lanes finest. A small restaurant but nevertheless we had a fine meal. Very enjoyable, good food and good service combined.

With steep stairs and a fairly limited menu you could easily be put off this restaurant. However the food is fantastic, freshly prepared and served by lovely staff. I've been a few times and have enjoyed the fish pakora and the spiced haddock starters. I always have a veggie main course and find them to be interesting and delicious. The... More

This tiny restaurant is one of Glasgow's best. Tucked away in Cowcaddens at the least attractive corner of Garnethill, its customers tend to be local or know the city well, with a smattering of Art School types at lunch (and dinner), the place being up the road. The menu is short, dishes are cooked fresh and are excellent value. The... More

Up a steep flight of stairs off the busy Ashton lane takes you into a small cosy intimate little restaurant. The resident head waiter is Jaimie, an extremely likeable character, always with a smile and unflappable, who always manages to somehow fit you in no matter how busy the place is. The butter chicken is to die for ! the... More

This "Wee Curry Shop" is just around the corner from the Earth Science Dept. that my son was visiting on Glasgow Uni open day. If he gets in I think it'll become a favourite haunt. The service was faultless, they provided a large jug of water without having to be asked and were cheerful, friendly and super helpful. The menu... More

Had the set lunch in here and it was not good, bland and water sauce and dry sundries. We had eaten n the Ashoka earlier n the week and wished we had gone back there. The guy serving it was OK and it was pleasant enough surroundings but it is called the wee curry house for a reason, I think... More

A friend and I visited this curry house on a snowy December night. The beautiful Chicken Saag and Bombay Aloo warmed us up though. Despite having a small, crowded dining area, we felt very comfortable. I was also pleasantly surprised with the limited selection on the menu. Too often it feels like one has to read a short novel's worth... More
