My sister in law took me here four days before I was due to fly home to Australia. Can't believe she kept this a secret from me for years. This was one of, if not the best curry I have ever had. Hidden away in Buccleuch St Garnethill is this quaint , tiny little eatery. Not much to look at... More

Don't order too many starters, they are all delicious but so are the ma is. Skip the desserts and byob. Intimate, atmospheric, great location. Always busy. Book!

Tiny little restaurant just above Jinty's in Ashton Lane ... blink and you'll miss it. Hadn't been there in a few years so late Saturday afternoon we gave it a try, restaurant was empty but apparently we had missed the lunchtime rush. We were still offered the lunchtime menu as well as the a la carte and opted for the... More

We have been to the Wee Curry Shop before and loved the food and the small menu. The food we had was pretty average- lentil cake and fish pakora were tasteless. Miles away from the flavour packed starters we had previously enjoyed. I had chicken tikka and asked for a hotter sauce. I got a very runny insipid sauce but... More

A well decorated cosy little restaurant overlooking the cobbled Ashton lane. Staff were reasonably friendly, meal was quite nice but nothing I couldn't find in a microwave meal... Well apart from the naan bread .. That was amazing! Extremely overpriced and my first experience of eating an Indian meal without feeling full up. I wouldn't recommend.

Walked in looked a little pokey and no other customers thought perhaps we had made a mistake in saying that we were in early, 5.30 for an evening meal and soon the place started filling up. Service was efficient and waitress was really nice. Food arrived quickly and was very very tasty, good sized portions too glad we did not... More

Been to this place a few times now, and also the sister restaurant in Buccleuch Street. Visited on a Sunday night this time and took advantage of the bring-your-own-bottle deal. They normally have some kind of set menu which allows you to have two courses for about £5-£6, depending on the time and day you are visiting so it's worth... More

My friend and I loved this place.....took some effort to find and is very small but the food was amazing and we really loved the haggis pakora's......Glasgow overall is a wonderful city to visit but it doesn't get the traffic that Edinburgh does! Wee Curry Shop is very good!

If you can look past the very dated decor and portable heaters you will find brilliant food. Menu has plenty of choice, all the usual and some a wee bit different - haggis pakora is great and we have always been well looked after when we've been. Many thanks
