We stumbled across this restaurant when returning to the train station. Food was very enjoyable and well priced. Recommend the tiramisu.

2nd visit went for lunch time deal 2 courses for £6.99 Starter and main was pretty average Staff friendly Decor average Only thing I can have a moan about is we waited 30mins for our main if we weren't on a tight schedule we wouldn't have minded .

A warm welcome awaits you at this place. The service is very quick, friendly, polite. There is some music, of course, but not overpowering. The food is of very fresh and delicious quality! We'll be back!

Before heading to Edinburgh on the train, I decided that I wanted to try Piazza Italia again as the first time I visited the experience was disappointing. This time round it still wasn't great. I ordered from the £5.95 lunch menu and chose Bruschetta al Pomodoro for starters and a Margherita for the main course. The Bruschetta was acceptable, but... More

We really had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. Nice old building with plenty of atmosphere. Service was prompt and meals were reasonably priced.

Went here tonight with friends, I've before and it's always been reasonable but tonight a group of us went for a nice meal & a catch up. We all had the two course pre theatre. We were in & out in 45mins - far too quick to enjoy a nice meal. The food is average but certainly won't be rushing... More

I visited with a friend on the day of the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games. We sat outside and soaked up the atmosphere. The service was good despite the restaurant being very busy and the waiters were polite and friendly. We enjoyed our pasta dishes. Keeping the wine chilled was tricky as the weather was so hot (not a common... More

I visited this place on sat through 5pm.com. Service was poor , long wait between starters and main. The mozzarella sticks were cold which is always an issue for me as I like my food piping hot. The sea bass was nice enough but again, lukewarm. Wouldn't rush back! !

Booked this through 5pm. Food was just ok nothing to rave about. My lasagne was dry and there was no salad or garlic bread with it. My friend had chicked which was overdone. Staff were fine. Will not be rushing back.
