The Lamora have a pizza takeaway attached to the restuarant and it is fab! You can choose from the menu or have your own choice of toppings, watch it all being put together and cooked. Very efficient, friendly staff/chefs and the pizzas are so good.

Food is tasty. Really good service. Lots of options in starters and main courses. My pal got the calamari starter and simply loved it. I got the pepper chicken fries whixh were alright. The gnochhi was silky. The main courses were great. Sea bass was a good portion, my chicken n mushroom risotto was excellent and the spinach ricotta pasta... More

Called in for an Italian meal,a rare thing because of where we live, and we were treated to a beautiful meal in very pleasant surroundings. The staff were very pleasant and obliging and we dined off the pre-concert menu ,under £20 for 3 courses, excellent value! We would recommend this restaurant anytime.

Ate here when it first opened a number of years ago and was hugely disappointed. Didn't try it again until last night (Hogmanay). Not only did they manage to accommodate our party of 5 at the last minute, the food and service were excellent!!!! Set menu, main meal approx £8, 2 courses £12, 3 courses a bit more again. (... Lamora is located at the Finneston end of Argyle Street, a comfortable 10 minute walk from the SSE Hydro. We visited last night before attending a show, selecting the pre-theatre menu which was varied and very reasonably priced. The food was of a very high quality, nicely presented and plentiful. My party enjoyed a selection of menu options including calamari... More

I dropped in to Lamora on Monday night before a concert without a booking and I must say I am very glad I did. The two young lady waitresses and gentleman waiter were very attentive without being intrusive. Pre theatre menu was ideal, good selections and at £11.95 for two courses a great deal. Mussels and bruchetta for starters, spinach... More

We went here last night for a festive night out and were not disappointed. I had the frittura however the calamari was a little rubbery. Prawns perfect and garlic mayo gorgeous. Then I had the seafood linguine which was faultless! Enough heat, few shells to shell, not too creamy, garlicky , well seasoned. I just wish I could recreate this... More
