If this restaurant was in New York they'd be queuing around the block to get in!

Another wonderful evening at Lamora! My family were visiting from the U.S. and we're most impressed with the quality of the food, the service and overall experience. Silvano, the owner, was in great form, entertaining and informative. The food was exceptional and our visitors commented that if... read more

My friend suggested we go here for dinner as it was her favourite place to go and been many times before. I wasn't disappointed! Nice atmosphere with friendly staff and the food was delicious! I had carbonara ( the best I have ever had ) and my friend had the arabiatta. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Just down the road from the famous Park Bar. Managed to pop down after the worlds & get a cancellation for a party of 7. What a great find! best pizza I have ever tasted. My hubby ate every bit of the seafood linguine & doesn't like pasta! Even he had to admit it was delicious. Good prices, good service,... More

Situation: evening meal, three couples Overall, I would say that the food was good. I had the focaccia as a starter which was actually very good, yet I wouldn't expect anything less from an Italian restaurant. For seconds I had Topolini & Amici Pepperaglio which consisted of scallops, king prawns, mussels and potato dumplings. The scallops were nicely cooked, while... More

Saw the lunch menu advertised after visiting Kelvingrove Gallery and decided to pop in after seeing the range of dishes and the great prices £7 for one course, £11 for 2 and £13 for 3. I had the minestrone soup for starters which was packed with lots of fresh vegetables and the spaghetti and meatballs for main. Great tasting food... More

We have been here many times, the secret is to make sure that you book,or you will get turned away and miss out on the delicious food. The selection on the menu is brilliant.

Was very impressed with Lamora. Went on a busy Saturday night with friends. Staff are relaxed, friendly and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious. My calamari starter and Parma ham salad was divine. Portions are a good size and everything on the table was clearly freshly made. Reasonably priced too at £32 each including wine and a tip. Looking forward... More

A little gem of an Italian restaurant at the west end of Argyle Street. Great choices on the modestly priced pre-theatre menu and some great dishes on the full a-la-carte menu. Excellent service, piping hot food and a sensibly priced wine list.

I'm really surprised that there are bad reviews about Lamora. I've been going here for years and have never had a bad meal, or bad service yet. Visited again today for lunch and food was lovely as usual, and the service was faultless. I've recommended Lamora to so many people because of the food and service. My go to place... More
