I have been going to Lamora for years. I hadnt been for about six months and was looking forward to going last night. I ordered lasagna as I usually do my favourite. I was so disappointed with it it usually has lots of meat in it but last night there was about five layers of pasta with sauce in between... More

I visited last night with my friend who has a guide dog and we were told by the owner no dogs allowed. Is this not illegal? Very disappointed.

I went here before going to a show in the Hydro and I was pleasantly surprised, it is a lovely wee restaurant. The staff were very nice we had a two course meal £9.95 and a lovely bottle of red wine which was reasonably priced also. I had mussels and garlic bread to start and they were amazing, they were... Having looked at Lamora and Panevino we opted for Lamora and were not disappointed. My partner had the calamari & tempura prawn starter and I had the chicken liver mousse...the prawns were so succulent and juicy and my pate was lovely and tasty. For our main courses we had the veal which came with seasonal potatoes and veg and the... More

Stayed in Glasgow for easter weekend & it was total luck that we chose this wonderful restaurant. Staff were friendly & attentive. We had starters of bruschetta which were really tasty & moreish. For mains I had spinach & ricotta tortellini in a tomato sauce ...gorgeous. My hubby had a seafood dish with gnocchi which he said was the nicest... More

A real pleasure to visit. Silvano, the owner, is very welcoming and helpful as are the staff who are attentive and happy to answer any questions. On our last visit the highlights were the friturra with calamari and succulent prawns and the rib eye steak which was generous and beautifully cooked. The menu is varied and the dishes are prepared... More

Went for a birthday meal, food was generally good and reasonably priced as we got the pre theatre menu. However, service was poor, not advised we had to give table back within 2 hours so felt very rushed at the end. Also neglected to give us pre theatre menu back to order desserts and then charged us separately for desserts... More

On my many trips to Glasgow I have had the pleasure of dining at the lamora. I must say it's one of the best Italian restaurants I have had the pleasure of dining in. Fantastic food, faultless service and all at a reasonable price. And if you want a takeaway they can accommodate you with the adjoining takeaway shop. A... More

I've been here lots of times and finally got round to leaving a review. The food has been great every time I've been and I've never had any complaints. The pizzas are amazing so I've used the takeaway bit next door a few times as well. Everything is always fresh and tasty, the service is good and it's great value... More
