One of the best

On my many trips to Glasgow I have had the pleasure of dining at the lamora. I must say it's one of the best Italian restaurants I have had the pleasure of dining in. Went for a birthday meal, food was generally good and reasonably priced as we got the pre theatre menu. However, service was poor, not advised we had to give table back within 2 hours so felt very rushed at the end. Also neglected to give us pre theatre menu back to order desserts and then charged us separately for desserts... More

I've been here lots of times and finally got round to leaving a review. The food has been great every time I've been and I've never had any complaints. The pizzas are amazing so I've used the takeaway bit next door a few times as well. Everything is always fresh and tasty, the service is good and it's great value... More

Eaten here before and yet again the place never fails to deliver, had Bressaloa to start followed by seafood linguine (great chilli kick to it) then Tiramisiu (which was massive), food was brilliant, atmosphere was great, as were the staff, visit here you will not be dissapointed

They were very busy so we had to wait a while for our order to be taken, but when the food came it was worth the wait. We have never been disappointed with the food anytime we have been there, which is a few times!

First impression as you walk through the door of this family owned Italian restauran is how light, airy, and and fresh the place is, giving it a much larger feel than it is, whilst retaining an intimate dining experience. I will admit now that I know the owners Silvano and Jen, but this in no way has influenced my opinion.... More

Another wonderful meal at Lamora on Saturday. The seafood pasta was fantastic as usual A real favourite of mine. Highlights from the menu were the pollo diavola and the piccatine al limone a stunning veal dish. If you haven't tried this restaurant please do you won't be disappointed Great food, atmosphere and service! Silvano in front of house is a... More

The service in this average Italian leaves a lot to be desired. Our order took an hour to be served, the food was nothing special, stale, soggy sauté potatoes with our steaks and way too much chilli in the penne arrabiata. Our empty glasses were left on the table even after more drinks were ordered and served. Not impressed and... More

So happy we picked this restaurant to thank family for all their help in moving to Finnieston. Had a very bad experience a couple of weeks ago up the other end of Finnieston. As soon as we walked in the place just felt right and staff couldn't have ben any nicer. Seven of us so various orders from Lamb Cacciatore,... More

Recommended to us. We had a wonderful evening. Very friendly and efficient staff. Super food. We had goat's cheese and bresaola for starters. Both very good. Crab ravioli was excellent and scallops and prawns were very flavoursome. Will be back Silvano.
