First time visited this restaurant for lunch. 2 spaggetti carbonara + bruscetta = £17 The bruscetta was really nice and the tomatoes on top of it really tasty. The carbonara was excellent, really tasty, but I would like a little bit bigger portion. The restaurant is a quiet place and the owner really friendly. We went early in the afternoon... More

Attentive, helpful staff even provided candles for birthday cake. Food excellent as always but mussels exceptional and steak perfect.

It was during the Commonwealth Games and the restaurant was BUSY. The food was excellent. Home made authentic Italian good cooking done by the sons in the kitchen. The bread came first and it was the real deal. The wine could have been cooler but it was a balmy evening and they tried their best to chill it for us.... More

Starters were lovely, but the main was overly spicy and there was no warning as to how spicy it would be - it was not suitable for children but there was no other alternative as there was no children's menu. When the grumpy waiter came to clear our meals, we asked if we could take our pizza home in a... More

I love Bruschetta as a starter and Risotto as a main course. They are simple dishes that let a restaurant show what they can cook. Lamora got them just right. Well worth a visit.

We ate here as a large party the night before our wedding in May. It was fabulous, great food, helpful attentive staff. It was so good, we came back the night after the wedding for a repeat performance with a smaller group! The owner is hilarious--think John Cleese in Fawlty Towers. He adds to the atmosphere and is a good... More
