Nice

Pleasant service. Big portion of pasta and good value with itison deal. Only thing didn't like was the garlic bread - butter not fully melted and looked awful. Otherwise good and would return

Cosy little place with mouthwatering Italian food and great service. Been at least twice and always happy. Must go again soon. Try phoning ahead and ask what deals are on. I found I only got a free wine etc because I had reserved by phone so worth asking. Near the BBC building, right under the big angel statue. Street parking... More

When we arrived we were greeted by a blonde woman as we walked in the door. She checked our booking and was just about to show us to our table when another couple walked in and then she completely ignored us and was falling at this other couples feet, quite cringeworthy to watch apologising that their regular table was taken... Second time at this authentic wee Italian restaurant and the service was still excellent. I Like the atmosphere and chilled back way the staff have and the food was good too. All reasonably priced and good location if going to a show at the hydro and surrounding venues. Will definately return.

We recently when here for a lunch and it was lovely. The service was spot on and the food was delicious, especially for £5.95 for a 2 course. I had the meatballs to start followed by strips of chicken breast in a pepper sauce. We were all stuffed after our 2 course that I didn't have a desert but they... More

Decided to visit La Fiorentina as had heard good reviews. First impressions of the restaurant was good. We ordered from the Sunday Roast menu 2 courses for £13.50. My boyfriend had the spicy tomato soup and I had the bruschetta to start. For our mains we had carbonara and chicken milanese (on menu as pork milanese but chef had no... More

Been here many times and food is always excellent - waiting staff were very professional and helpful. My only nitpick is that I'm sure they used to bring out bread baskets whilst waiting for starters, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore, but like I said, that's a small issue for me. Would return again.

Decided to try La Fiorentina out having not been there in years. In my opinion it has decided to go for the cheaper end of the market. This is shown on the prices of their dishes now and the types of wines and prices on their list too. Another disappointing thing was that they seem to opt for employing more... More

Very good pre-theatre meal prior to going to concert in The Hydro. Food was excellent but service was a tad slow due to being busy. However, I'd certainly go back again.

Been meaning to check this restaurant out for a while, housed in the iconic "Angel" building. Two courses at lunch for £5.95!...about says it all. Tasty, hearty food served swiftly and all to a budget price. Highly recommend.
