Word is out.............. Guys food is top notch. Service is always Friendly efficenent and consistant. Hence the reason it was full even mid week. The staff just take this in their stride. Clearly well trained and happy at work. This combined with a well run kitchen means Guys is rare. Truly one of the best all rounders. Thanks to Danielle your... More

This was genuinely the best steak I've ever eaten. So good in fact that the next time I went back I had it again. I went using a tastecard so every course was 2 for 1 and I had a starter of an english muffin with black pudding, hollandaise and a poached duck egg which was also incredible. Cocktails were... More

We could not get a table the first night so booked for the following night. Welcomed by the barman and duty manager, we had a drink at the bar before we sat down, which on reflection was probably a mistake - we lost 'our slot'! The restaurant did not appear to be that busy- certainly all the waiting staff were... More

Celebration meal for 4. Service was top class. Food was outrageously good. The fois gras and veal were particularly good Excellent atmosphere. Already planning our next visit.

We had booked a table for 9 on the first Friday of the commonwealth games. It was packed out & very hot inside & out. The staff were very helpful considering how busy they were, the food was excellent although one main course was late in coming, so they got a free glass of champagne. I would highly recommend Guy's... More

My family and I dined at guys this evening and what a pleasurable experience. Delightful food only topped by knowledgeable server Pheobie. Our only complaint is the slow kitchen service but the restaurant was pretty backed up so it's understandable. 13/08/2014

Visited with my wife on a Friday during the Commonwealth Games. Clearly very busy but we had booked and were seated straight away. The food was lovely. Ordering off the pre theatre we thoroughly enjoyed the prawn cocktail, pate and especially the steak. The risotto was ok but perhaps need another "element" to mix it up a bit. No complaints... More

I went for an early dinner the last day of the Commonwealth games. We had the reservation at 4 and even though the restaurant was busy there were still many tables available. Then as soon as we had a seat, we realised that there was a huge problem with the management of the restaurant. The waiter gave us the menu... More

We ate here with friends for lunch. We were met by friendly staff who were attentive and helped out with the menu preferences. We had cauliflower soup to start and to follow we had black pudding and pasta. The food was nicely presented and tasty. Although the waiting staff were attentive we waited a little while for the food to... More

We have visited Guys Restaurant several times now and it just gets better. In my opinion it is not only the best restaurant in Glasgow but in the Country. What makes it so good is not just the food, but the overall ambience and the atmosphere it creates cannot be found elsewhere, at least not this good. From the welcome... More
