Another delicious meal

Have been in Guy's twice in the last week. Once for pre-theatre and second time for Sunday lunch. Food superb both times. Love the atmosphere and the staff are just lovely. Eggs Benedict on lunch menu - just superb. Can get very noisy when busy. House Romanian merlot just delicious. One of my... read more

This is a firm family favourite. We have been countless times and Guy's never disappoints, no matter what the occasion! Delicious food, great wine list and friendly service. Quirky decor and friendly staff. Always a great experience!

First of all, the bar here is great with a brilliant selection of cocktails for before the meal. We ate off of the pre-theatre menu as we were going to a gig, but it didn't at all feel restricted- I was struggling by the end! Brilliant food and atmosphere, you can tell why this place is always busy.

Great atmosphere, v friendly staff. But I was situated in the middle of restaurant, just after bar and I was in a draft all night. So much so I had my jkt over shoulder all night. We ate of the Market menu, food was well presented and nice.

The decor and ambience is tastefully upmarket but very relaxed. The staff were very friendly, polite, attentive and courteous. The food is literally freshly prepared thus you are warned there may be a wait. Out starters took longer than anticipated though - the waitress noticed this without us having to raise it and dealt with the issue appropriately. We had... More

Dinner on Saturday night. Quiet table asked for - we were given a table right next to toilets and kitchen. Could see right into kitchen and was very hot.Spent entire evening with people banging into back of my chair because the tables are way to close together. Service friendly but slow. Had to chase the wine we ordered and starters... More

Enjoyed an evening with friends here recently. A very busy and vibrant restaurant which could have won five stars had it not been so busy. The management have jammed in so many tables the place is very noisy and there is little room move. Food was excellent, great variety and prompt service. Thoroughly recommend, but don't go at a busy... More

I would normally expect a good steak but this is the second time I have been served tough meat. The prawn cocktail remains good but they have reduced the quantity. It appears that they know the clients will come back but maybe the penny will drop oneday. Can't come soon enough. Better take note before its too late. PS keep the... More

We visited here on a 2 night visit to Glasgow after doing a search on Tripadvisor. Good shout! We booked online which was simple. We had the 2 course "Market Menu" which was excellent value - the Scottish Tapas was great, there were clean plates all round! The staff were very nice, especially the young waiter. The only minor negative... More
