Lovely contemporary Scottish cuisine.

We've been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. Jacqui is quite famous now as she has appeared on great British menu a few times now and I tried her World War I main course last year - pork belly eaten out of a mess tin! The steaks are amazing too!

Been meaning to write this review for a while! I came here for my friend's 30th at the start of July with his family & close friends & it has to be one of the best meals I have ever had. The food was just brilliant, the wine list had a very wide selection & the staff were absolutely brilliant.... More

We visited Sisters this evening with a group of five Dutch colleagues/friends. We liked everything about the restaurant. The food was good, decor nice and the staff friendly and professional, with a nice sense of humor. If I lived here I would certainly eat here often.

Great welcome and attentive staff. Menu is brilliant, as is the wine and beer selection. Service very good and both starters were fabulous. Main courses were delicious, with marvellous presentation and delicious flavours. Food and service - excellent. Reason for only four stars? Toilet facilities were poor. More café standard than quality dinning establishment.

Forget the idea of this being a 5 star venue. It's a humble honest tenement building with steep stairs to the entrance and shabby chic toilets. However what this place does and has always offered is beautifully thought out dishes and quality produce. Katy our waitress was lovely, professional and attentive. This is our second visit and not our last!!

Looked forward to visiting The Sisters, Kelvingrove for Sunday Dinner. We were greeted and seated by friendly staff member. The restaurant wasn't too busy there were a few available tables. We were a party of three and to start two of us had the pate and oatcakes which was very nice. The other party member had the risotto which was... More

This is possibly one of the best meals I've ever had (certainly in Scotland). The food was excellent and the service was perfect. We will be back for sure.

Went to The Sisters Restaurant as a farewell treat with a friend, it was so nice I've found an excuse to go back before leaving glasgow. The lunch menu @ £12 for 3 courses is excellent value, although we both chose from the pre-theatre menu again fantastic value for under £20 for 3 courses. All the courses we superb, but... More

This elegant little restaurant is owned by the current 'champion' chef of Scotland as seen on the BBC's 'Great British Menu', Glasgow's Jak O'Donnell. A group of seven of us lunched there, choosing the 3 course lunch menu ... which costs £12 !!!!!!!! (NOT a misprint). We were served beautifully presented food, Simple and elegant with adequate portions. Low key,... More

Delightful restaurant. Good quality food at reasonable cost, uses locally sourced food from Scotland. Staff are not only professional and knowledgeable about the food on the menu, but are friendly and accommodating. Please leave room for dessert, particularly the Clootie dumpling showcased on Great British Menu. Will be back and good luck to Jak in the final of GBM.
