Booked for dinner here after seeing the Great British Menu. The food was lovely and a lot more reasonable than we imagined it would be. My only criticism would be that we booked on the Internet and it appeared we had to make a choice of which menu we wanted (a la carte, set menu at £22.50 or they also... More

Booked in for late lunch before going to a concert in Glasgow, simply wonderful, great service & simple lunch menu made it a joy to order. At a price of £15 a head for the lunch menu it's fantastic value & the food is very close to Michelin standard. This is a hidden gem only a short walk from the... More

5 of us ate at the sisters today and all of us thoroughly enjoyed it. the Sunday menu offers 2 courses for 15.95 or 3 for 17.95 which is a bargain. There are about 5 options for started and mains so there is a good choice. To start I had the chicken liver pate which was delicious, the pear chutney... More

We were not disappointed , at the selection that was available on all the menus. The wine list is well balanced as are the menus. Service was faultless also, we went as a couple mid week and found another excellent restaurant for Glasgow.

Went to this restaurant to celebrate my son graduating from university. With my husband and 2 sons we had an excellent evening. The meal was fabulous - a set meal for £22 - portions student sized and absolutely delicious. Came with a free glass of wine. 2 of us had the pate and the other 2 had blaggis!! Delicious. All... The set Sunday lunch menu here was excellent. After seeing Jacqueline cook on Great British Menu, we just had to try her place out as it is right on our doorstep. We were not disappointed with the food, which was all very good. I had haddock risotto, followed by pork loin chop and then popping candy meringue with ice cream,... More

You won't be disappointed in either the quality or portions at this lovly restaurant. We ordered from the A La Carte menu. I had the scallops which were cooked perfectly. My husband had the risotto and he loved it. We were both seduced by the Great British Menu main. A trio of roast pork with roast potatoes, creamed cabbage and... More
