Hadn't eaten at this restaurant for several years and was looking forward to going back to sample what had been a particular pleasurable experience on many previous occasions. Never been so dissapointed. Although restaurant was busy there was a distinct lack of atmosphere and the actual dining room was cold albeit an extremely chilly January evening. The choice of food... Just back home from The Sisters after seven of us enjoyed a well served, beautifully presented lunch. The choices on the menu were varied and the food was hot when it arrived. The staff were very attentive and witty. A nice way to spend a snowy, Saturday afternoon. Would not hesitate to recommend this lovely little restaurant to family and... More

Enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Sisters, Kelvingrove Street. The set lunch menu providing hearty portions of Blaggis Bon Bons (large haggis and black pudding croquettes with whiskey cream sauce), roast ham with colcanon potatoes and large piles of buttered cabbage, and then the star of the show - puff candy meringue with honeycomb ice cream and butterscotch sauce. Each dish... More

Went to the sisters last night to celebrate my birthday, had'nt been before so a bit of a gamble. We needn't have worried, not only that but it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable meals we've ever had, we opted for the pre theatre menu at a very reasonable price of £18.95 for 3 courses. But my... More

We ate at this restaurant just before New Year. The staff were warm and friendly, the restaurant was cosy with a buzzy atmosphere and the food was fresh. I was impressed to see a Scottish influence on the menu. ie, dishes with local fish and haggis. We had the pre theatre menu and the choice was varied. A great night... More

Well, I have tried very hard for a long time to find a restaurant that serves the food I love as much as Sisters in Glasgow Kelvingrove does, I have never had a bad meal there, and the service is also great, when we went on Sunday we managed to meet the chef, such a nice person and her food... This place is a real find and could be quite easily missed of you didn't know IT was there. Extremely God value lunch menu and the quality of the food was excellent. Slightly limited lunch menue but enough choice to get the taste buds interested. Visited here as a table of four and not disappointed. The home made bread is... More

Went there with a small group for Christmas lunch. The staff were very welcoming, the surroundings are attractive and there was a good choice on the menu and at a reasonable price. All of the dishes were attractively presented and the quality of the food was excellent. The service was very good, friendly and gave enough time between courses. Everything... More
