We went to The Sisters Kelvingrove on the last night of a short holiday in Glasgow. We chose the restaurant based on watching chef Jak O Donnell on great British menu and thinking we'd get some great cooking of wonderful Scottish fayre. We weren't wrong. We were really warmly welcomed by Neal who deserves special mention because he was just... More

A birthday treat for several of the family. Took the set pre theatre menu and everyone rated all the courses. Particular highlights were the haggis bonbons and the excellent beef cheek. Great service from an attentive and friendly staff.

Friday 20th march pre theatre menu. Steep stairs on arrival and a curtain facing you at the top ! This was an extremely practical entrance as it kept any draught from the diners. Next impression was of an extremely fresh, clean and comfortable restaurant...move on. Seated by friendly, helpful staff, didn't catch his name but the guy from the Orkneys (... More

Came here for a special occasion. Small, tastefully decorated restaurant with "homely" feel. We had the pre-theatre menu. Good choice and food all beautifully cooked. Staff friendly and helpful. Will be back!

Myself and my fiancee were here for the pre theatre menu, the combination of food was excellent, I was a bit apprehensive before I tasted it, but the goats cheese salad has blood oranges, beetroot, fig, altogether on your fork a mouth watering delight, for my main I had the ham, very nice although I wish I had gone for... First time visiting with my fiancé, and we will most definitely be back and will recommend to everyone we know. Location was exquisite and romantic and beautifully decorated, with lovely views outside. Food was to die for, I rated each of my 2 courses 10 out of 10. My main, slow roasted beef cheeks was so, so tender and mouthwatering,... More

Dinner get-together. Apologies to the the surrounding tables for the noise-we hadn't seen each other in a while. Not cheap but excellent food. The venison in particular was easily one of the best I've ever had. Carrot cake could be improved on (a bit dry) and beer selection minimal but guess this isn't the kind of place for that.

I cannot fault anything this restaurnt did. The service was amazing and although we were only dressed in jeans because we were going to the Hydro for a concert nobody made you feel uncomfortable. As for the food, it is unbelievable. I started with scallops and they were amazing, followed by beef cheeks but I was unsure because I've had... More

My husband booked this restaurant for my birthday. We ate from the pre theatre menu, the haggis starter was excellent. we both had beef cheeks as our main and this was exceptional. The two waiters were attentive, polite and made us feel welcomed and valued as costomers.
