Truly Wonderful

Popped in for lunch yesterday and had another great meal. This really is fine dining and even with the small lunch menu we had no difficulty in finding something we wanted. The full a la carte is also available but at £12, for 3 courses, the lunch menu offers exceptional value for money. I've... read more

Tucked away in Kelvigrove Street is this superb gem of a Restaurant which please even the most exacting `foodie`! Where else in Glasgow can you eat a wonderful 3 course dinner for £18.95 in such warm and welcoming surroundings? The Chef is clearly taqlented and staff are well trained to ensure the whole experience makes you want to return quite... More

Went for a family lunch on Saturday about 1pm, a few other tables in and got a lovely table near the fire. Bread rolls while we waited for our starters were fresh and super tasty. Service was first class from a lovely guy, personable and attentive. Starters arrived, I had haddock risotto which was just out of this world, so... More

The restaurant is lovely inside, cosy with an informal feel. The art work through out is stunning and the service was faultless. We all opted for the pre-theatre menu as this was good value for money. With 2 courses for £15.95 or 3 for £18.95. Two of the group opted for the crab starter (£2.95 supplement) and stated it was... Had a great meal here a couple of months ago so took a couple of friends along this time.Nicely greeted at the door and shown to our table, ordered our drinks and food.A bowl of complimentary bread rolls was sat on our table and to honest these things could've smashed the windows pretty solid and to give only 3 rolls... Took our granddaughter here for farewell lunch, she is off to study abroad. We were all delighted with our meal had soup/fritters/chicken/ham/clootie dumpling and puff candy sweet all absolutely delicious. Staff extremely nice and helpful but unobtrusive. Also do not think we have ever had a meal with better value, thank you, we will return very soon.

Visited The Sisters, Kevingrove for Lunch today. What a lovely place - it has an elegant, contemporary feel resulting in a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and absolutely delightful. Three Course Lunch Menu was excellent. Food was beautifully presented, it was piping hot, good portion size and excellent value. Despite the place being busy, we did not... More

We were going to the pantomime and needed a quick pre-theatre meal. As it was bookable on 5pm.com, we booked it straight away. We arrived just on 5:00 pm and the friendly staff showed us to a table at a window. We had home made chicken liver paté and then salmon in a lobster sauce on crushed potatoes. Both dishes... More

We booked on-line a couple of days earlier for a family meal (5 of us). Although we arrived ~30mins ahead of schedule the friendly waiting staff were more than accommodating and showed us to a booth where it was a bit of a squeeze to get round the table. The staff also struggled to serve over the large table. We... More

My family and I visited this evening and our meals and drinks were lovely. The staff kindly advised me regarding vegan alternatives and my mushroom risotto main was excellent. Thank you so much. Would recommend. Jennifer
