Description: The Living Room is something of a magnet for Glasgow's young...
The Living Room is something of a magnet for Glasgow's young professionals. Bang in the middle of the city's business district, its relaxed vibe, good food and friendly service are a hit with office workers during the day and party people by night. In the atmospheric AA rosette-awarded restaurant you can dine on a range of affordable hit dishes such as the crispy duck spring rolls, sea bass fillet a Spanish sausage stew and some of the best steaks in Glasgow. Drinks are as much of an attraction as the food - our extensive cocktail list is updated frequently but if there's something in particular you fancy just ask our bartenders for your favourites!

Good food in pleasant surroundings...

Had a weekend long lunch with a friend last weekend at the Living Room in Glasgow - spent a very pleaseant leisurely few hours - the atmosphere was relaxed and informal which just suited the occasion. We shared a tapas platter of tasty morsels, just enough to whet the appetite. i chose the trio of... read more

I am starting to get the feeling that the people complaining on this page are after some sort of 'sorry' gift from the manager of The Living Room, and actually complaining about very little. I had a wonderful experience here and preferred this visit to the Glasgow Living Room than the times I've been to the one in Edinburgh. For... More

The living room has quickly become one of my new favourite places to eat! I usually go once in a blue moon with my partner but Thursday I ate with a group of friends. Although they were surprisingly very busy, The service was spot on as always, our waiter Sean was friendly and kept us laughing throughout the night. I... More

My husband and I decided to visit The Living Room for dinner tonight instead of our usual restaurant Grill on the Corner and have to say that I don't think we'll be back. We've been for dinner a couple of times before a few years ago however it's gone way downhill. We took advantage of the 50% off deal however... More

Everything about this place was disappointing.although staff were very friendly the service was slow ( really slow ) and the food ,although being half price it was also half portion. My partner ordered chicken and garlic mash, no hint of garlic what so ever I ordered pasta in white wine sauce, got pasta in tomato sauce. Service so slow we went... More

I recently went to the living for a night out with my friends for dinner and drinks. The staff were fantastic and very attentive, offering drinks whenever they saw an empty glass. The cocktails were lovely and we ordered plenty to make sure! The food as always was outstanding! I shared the duck starter with my friend and couldn't be... More

We have been here a few times but last week was by far the best. The food was delicious and was excellent value with the 50% off the food voucher. The wine was also very reasonable with the house white only £10 a bottle and was not bad. My sister and I had the fillet steak and they were cooked... More

It has been a while since I visited The Living Room – some years ago we were very regular customers and knew all the staff well; the food was excellent and the service great. However times change and you move on to new places to try and enjoy. This was a spontaneous Monday evening visit with friends and we all... More

Our lunch trip to the living room was a bit disappointing. Slow service, dirty plates and very average food made it all feel a bit like they need to try harder. Don't been taken in by the 50% off all food which was very visibly advertised when we visited, it's not forthcoming!
