The Living Room is something of a magnet for Glasgow's young professionals. Bang in the middle of the city's business district, its relaxed vibe, good food and friendly service are a hit with office workers during the day and party people by night. In the atmospheric AA rosette-awarded restaurant you can dine on a range of affordable hit dishes such as the crispy duck spring rolls, sea bass fillet a Spanish sausage stew and some of the best steaks in Glasgow. Drinks are as much of an attraction as the food - our extensive cocktail list is updated frequently but if there's something in particular you fancy just ask our bartenders for your favourites!

Very good

We have been here twice for dinner and both times the food has been excellent. Good portion sizes are excellent and for what you get good enough value.I have both times had the sirloin steak and having twice been to Grill on the corner and paying much more I would say that the food in the Living... read more

I had booked a special table for 13 family members many weeks before my 50th birthday. On the day of our booking about four hours before I was phoned and told the extractor in the kitchen had broken down and that the restaurant would be closed that night. Another restaurant was suggested to me but the price was far greater... More

Had a fantastic meal with a friend recently. The food was excellent, the staff were so attentive and the atmosphere was great. We had some great wine and cocktails too. This place is a must visit for great food at very reasonable prices. Thanks for a great night!!

Dined here with my dad for a long overdue catch up and was impressed. Unfortunately as it was a Tuesday night it was incredibly quiet, but this has nothing to so with the food or the menu, I'm sure. As a waitress at one of the opposition restaurants just down the road, I know a week night can be a... More

Birthday get-together on 5pm deal. Was impressed with the food and service as despite the restaurant being busy nothing to much trouble for our waitress. Great vibe in the restaurant and bar - really enjoyed the old skool Dj. Half price cocktails on a Friday went down a treat. Would definitely go back.

We went in here on a Saturday night, it was busy, with a couple of large groups and most tables full. The music was quite loud especially in the bar area when we were waiting for our table. Food choice was very good and very enjoyable. service was excellent!

Celebrating a family members 30th wedding anniversary, we had high expectations for this place as it had come highly recommended..... Whats a shame that we waited 10mins to be offered a drink after seated, a further 20mins for the wine to come, by which time our starter had arrived. COLD soup is not what was asked for and was sent... More

Came here on a Sunday evening with my partner with a LivingSocial voucher, this voucher entitled us to a three course meal with a bottle of wine. Started off very nicely - prompt service and the waiter with the wine was very pleasant. Unfortunately this changed when a second waiter arrived... he seemed uninterested and seemed like he would have... More
