I was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant, but unfortunately the actual experience did not live up to its expectations. Great location, beautiful setting and atmosphere but, you cannot call yourself a steak house without being able to properly cook a steak. Cocktails were descent and appetizers ok - unfortunately though the beef fillet was not Pittsburgh rare like... More

Got a deal of lunch and bottle of wine for £29, though at the moment this offer can be obtained without a deal - extremely good value for money. Good service from friendly staff

I went for dinner here with my husband for our child free date night. The bar we waited in was lovely and the waiters very attentive. The food itself was nice and the house wine was lovely - however I started to feel a bit queezy after the meal was done and went to the loos to cool down and... More

Booked through 5pm.com and had a 2 course lunch for 2 people with a bottle of wine for £29. Various starters made it difficult to choose but I decided on the soup of the day - broccoli and cauliflower- and it was delicious. Freshly baked bread sliced at the table by the waiter was a nice touch. Main course choice... More

First impressions are that you are made to feel like it's a privilege you are allowed through the door. It's very big and sprawling and there are photos everywhere of the great, shiny and good. I found this off putting, as if I should be honoured to be dining in a place frequented by these folk. It didn't quite fit... More

Family meal for 14 of us, in private dining room, £100 to book. The menu was excellent and service amazing. Steaks all round, 16 oz noteworthy and house wine was adequate. The only downside was the outlook onto the alley wasn't the best from the dining room, the main dining room has a nicer atmosphere.
