A venue where left and right handers can exist in harmony without fear of persecution. A licensed land of milk & honey where the ping-pong is plentiful the computer games are retro, the cocktails arrive in gramophones and the strawberry mojitos cost nought but 3 pounds. Vintage fairs on Sundays, sewing clubs on Tuesdays, bingo on Wednesdays plus a host of other relatively interesting tit-bits. Happy days. If you're into this kind of thing..

Great atmosphere!

Bookclub's interior architecture and design are unbeatable! The atmosphere is great and true to Glasgow's West End! The menu offers interesting options, and the food is good but not amazing. The service can also be pretty slow. It's always very crowded so be sure to make a reservation!

Have been here on a few occasions, always excellent service and beautiful food. This time my boyfriend tried the many cocktails and enjoyed them :-) and I had a white wine and It was served in a small karaff. Went down a treat!! Such a great atmosphere, great night out for friends and also as a couple. We had a... More

Was taken a little by surprise at just how good this place is, Firstly, excellent looking place, and nice atmosphere, The service was pretty good too, But the food was great! I had the Risotto my friend the duck salad, Both were fantastic, I ordered a side of chips, And they were chucky and soft and tasted awesome. Damn right... More

just came for drinks and ping ping. Worth the walk from the West End for the unusual experience. Friendly staff, good atmosphere.

Kind of went here on a whim but a great place for a drink and casual game of ping pong. Strange decor might not be to everyone's taste resembling a how you could imagine a vampires wedding to be decorated but great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Although vampire wedding chic wasn't the initial plan, we really love the description. Thanks for visiting. {hb} More

Was not expecting much from this place as I don't hear many people taking about it. However, our party of 6 were really impressed. Food was great, I'd recommend the risotto. Staff were really friendly, so nice to have pleasant people serving. Loved the quirky menu and the concept that you can get a good quality meal without paying over... More

Arrived at around 1pm for lunch. Service was slow with staff seeming a bit overwhelmed even though it wasn't too busy. Thankfully we weren't in a particular rush and the food was good which made up for it. Wouldn't advise coming here for a quick bite to eat, better for longer lunches.

Went on a Friday night, booked ahead for dinner and a good job as the place was heaving. We got a booth overlooking the place that was comfortable and quite cosy. The service was really good, maybe a little bit slow but this was understandable seeing how busy it was. The food was great, I got the fish and chips... More

My son was graduating from Glasgow Uni on 2nd July and I drove up from the midlands and wanted to book a place for a post graduation meal with his girlfriend and my daughter and this was his suggestion. We had the graduation three course menu which came with a small coffee cup of prosecco with a strawberry in it.... More

My Grandson had a family buffet following his Naming Ceremony at Glasgow University Chapel. We had all of the Balcony space for family and friends so plenty room for buggies, etc. Staff were very efficient and pleasant: buffet food hot and tasty!! Would definitely use this venue again!
