Feel like a local

Very small and friendly place in the center of town. Great place to stop for a brew and meet people. Many regulars so you feel like a friend after the first time

Stopped here for a drink and the lady that served us (Claire) what a worker she is. Made us feel right at home. She went about her business making sure her customers were looked after. Dropped in before dinner in the evening and the girls on duty were every bit as nice. Will come back in the future

I have always wanted to visit this pub after the rave reviews I had read. I was there Wed. lunchtime and the whole experience was spoilt by the 3 very loud older guys propping up the bar, they could not finish any sentence without F-ing this or F-ing that, I have worked on building sites all off my life and... I'm so sorry to read your review. All of our staff do their best to make sure every customer is happy and comfortable. I only wish you had spoken to the staff at the time as they may of been able to speak to the customers and asked them to tone it down for you. The cctv footage shows me... More

Visited with friends for drinks before Christmas. Is a very friendly pub with good service and a wide supply of different drinks to suit all. Still has an old fashioned interior décor, making it nice and rekaxed to have a drink in.

We came in off the street with our dog looking for a cup of coffee having been rejected by the usual chain coffee shops down Market Street. They (staff and customers) could not have been more welcoming. Free doggy treats for the pooch, very good coffee/biscuit at a reasonable price with a free refill. Happy customer, would recommend.

Amazing bar situated on the main road in the centre of St Andrews. Quite rightly awarded Scottish Pub of the Year 2014 and we immediately saw why. The minute we walked in the staff really couldn't do enough for you and they offer an amazing array of whisky and real ale. Great atmosphere, friendly locals and great service. There aren't... More

We were so disappointed when we popped in for a drink. Barmaid very unwelcoming, looked at us and after about a few minutes standing at bar - "do you want a drink?" - terrible customer service, - no where to sit , made to feel completely unwelcome. Went to sit at window bench was told " dangerous place to sit"... More

Oh my goodness I've just read your review. I'm so sorry you were not treated like you should have been. I absolutely pride myself in making everyone's experience a good one and to find that one of my staff didn't fulfill your needs upsets me tremendously. Was in today and incredibly rude woman spoke to staff appallingly which was handled in a polite and professional manner after the woman read outside signs wrong assuming was a family friendly pub, it absolutely is if your child is over...
