Great meals

We ate here 2 nights out off our 4 day stay and both nights the service and food were excellent. The Pappardelle was really good, plenty of pasta and meat and piping hot food as well as the plates, we followed this with the Rib Eye Steak and it was a super piece of meat cooked exactly as... read more

I went to Rocca expecting nothing but fine meals and drinks after my experience with the deli. The food at Rocca was an amazing feel happy experience. Each course was served with incredible details from the arrangement in the bowl, the flavours, texture and colours. Im mad about food deconstruction but the fusion of Italian and Scottish foods served in... More

What can I say? What an brilliant meal in fanastic surroundings. We were lucky enough to get the prime table at the window overlooking the 18th fairway - great fun watching the various groups of golfers finishing their rounds! The food and service were exceptional and this was one of the best meals I have ever had. Portions were just... More

As Masterchef fans, we were looking forward to eating in the restaurant and the food didn't disappoint. As they would say, a pinch of salt away from perfect, however that is personal taste. Neither of us particularly liked the amuse bouche, again personal taste. The rest of the meal was very tasty and generally well presented. I found the quail... More

Delightful to both eat and admire the presentation; wonderful flavours with plenty of contrast in colour, texture and taste. Not big helpings; more in the way of quality than quantity, which how we like it. Not surprised the chef won master-chef a year or so ago; definitely very talented

The tagliatelle funghi was extremely tasty, though the pasta was a tiny bit stuck (a little more sauce?) The milk fed cumbrian lamb surprised me - I've never eaten sweetbread before and was a little wary, but wow - pancreas is beautifully tender and delicious. The addition of burnt aubergine was worked well with the other flavours and I particularly... More

Asked for window table as we were celebrating my wifes birthday and we had a great table looking out onto the 1st Tee and 18th green of the Old Course. Great wine list some pricy but many reasonable. Good choice of dishes on the menu and a rhubarb soufflé to die for.

This is the third time my husband and I have had dinner at Rocca Restaurant in St Andrew's. From the time we arrived the staff were extremely attentive and the level of service was as expected, very high. The meal surpassed our last visit and can only be described as exceptional.

My sister and I booked for Rocca in the Rusacks Hotel St Andrews. Jamie Scott - Masterchef winner 2014 - chefs there and what a wonderful, delicious experience we had. The presentation was there firstly, with attractive decor, stunning views over the 18th green, accompanied by excellent service - nothing stuffy, just knowledgable, mannerly, friendly staff. The food was delightful,... More
