At Rocca St Andrews our recipe for success is a fusion of exquisite food with a backdrop of one of the world's most famous sporting locations - the Old Course. Like the many champions that have graced the hallowed course, we too top the leaderboard as one of only 25 restaurants in the country with three AA Rosettes in 2013 - a reward for the creativity and passion of the Rocca family. The stunning view over the 18th means guests enjoy much more than just a delicious meal. Our menu features Scottish cooking with an Italian twist. Fresh ingredients are sourced from artisan producers either on our doorstep or in Tuscany and there is something to suit every palate. With a real pedigree in both our front-of-house and in our kitchen, you can rest assured a visit to Rocca will live long in the memory. Come and visit us and let our passion for food become your passion for delicious dining.

The best meal, ever!

The culmination of my visit with my son was our dinner together at Rocca Restaurant, housed in the lovely Rusacks Hotel, on the impossibly immaculate 18th fairway of the Old Course. The food is good but it is very slow (three hours for the service) and the management does not know how to admit or recover from a mistake. One of our party ordered Turbot. He did not get the meal with the rest of us. Management said it was "on its way". 10 minutes later haddock appeared when most of... More

Food was excellent, everything about the meal was excellent. We had the taster menu and I had the wine flight. The sommelier presented and described the wine without unnecessary theatrics, rather he tended to it with love for his art. The only criticism I can muster isn't a reflection on the staff or venue, instead it's the clientele it attracts.... More

Our first visit, and we were thrilled to be positioned at a window, overlooking the iconic 18th fairway of the Old Course. On a gloriously tranquil, sun-kissed evening, St Andrews was looking spectacular. All of this might be sufficient for some - but the food and service did not disappoint. Efficient, informed service, and a Sommelier who shared his wisdom... More

In St A by ourselves so decided to go 'up market'. What a good decision that was. Tremendous meal in lovely setting. While we did not have window seat could see Old Course. Food was excellent. My duck was possibly best meal ever eaten while my wife thoroughly enjoyed her fish. We were not rushed. Room lovely. Will definitely go... More

Great food and views! Must get a window seat as you are paying for it, but worth it if you do. Food was excellent and locally sourced. Well prepared and presented.

Wow. Just wow. the perfect weekend in St Andrews and this was probably the highlight. I have been wanting to eat here after seing Jamie on Masterchef and I was not dissapointed. The town still had the buzz of the open. and my request of sitting at the window had been recognised. on arrival we were seated to what can... More

I booked the lunch time taster menu which is available on a Friday and Saturday as a treat for a dear friends birthday. The food prepared by Davie Aspin and his team was to die for! It was bursting with freshness and flavour and exquisitely presented. Stephano , Liam and Dan could not have been more welcoming ,and described each... More
