At Rocca St Andrews our recipe for success is a fusion of exquisite food with a backdrop of one of the world's most famous sporting locations - the Old Course. Like the many champions that have graced the hallowed course, we too top the leaderboard as one of only 25 restaurants in the country with three AA Rosettes in 2013 - a reward for the creativity and passion of the Rocca family. The stunning view over the 18th means guests enjoy much more than just a delicious meal. Our menu features Scottish cooking with an Italian twist. Fresh ingredients are sourced from artisan producers either on our doorstep or in Tuscany and there is something to suit every palate. With a real pedigree in both our front-of-house and in our kitchen, you can rest assured a visit to Rocca will live long in the memory. Over slightly disappointed with our resent visit. Great customer service and choice of drinks. The food came 50 mins after we ordered, so I probably had a bit of a sour taste in my mouth before eating.

Having waited almost a year to use a gift voucher we'd been given we finally managed to find a weekend to visit. The restaurant is very nice, the staff polite and helpful, the table had a lovely view over the old course, we were very happy until we saw the menu. The website clearly shows a standard a la Carte... More

The breakfasts in Roccas were very good apart from not having smoked haddock, again! But unable to eat in the restaurant as it was fully booked before we even got there as the one under was closed. We did eat in the bar one night which was open for food until 9pm but the menu was extremely limited no more... More

This restaurant is set in an absolutely stunning location overlooking the 18th on the old course. The food was spectacular and the lunch menu was exceptionally good value for money. The only negative is the service felt slightly rushed and impersonal, hence 4/5.

Finally got the chance to try this restaurant around Christmas time. The night we were there seemed to be exceptionally quiet, which seemed strange in the run up to Christmas, and unfortunately meant the atmosphere was a bit strained. I'm sure the atmosphere is better when the restaurant is busy. On arriving, we were greeted by a rather snooty lady,... More

We are regular visitors to St Andrews. We decided to treat ourselves to an early Christmas meal out and chose Rocca based on the location and the reviews on TA. We had never done a tasting menu before so we were looking forward to this. We both added the optional wine package to both our meals. £100 each seemed great... More

Been twice now and can't wait to go back. Both times have been outstanding both food and serves. Also stayed at the hotel where breakfast was served in rocca which was also great. Goats cheese and beetroot starter is a starter I will always remember and talk about. Look forward to my next meal here.

1st visit. Warmly welcomed into this lovely restaurant overlooking the 18th green. Staff were extremely helpful and looked after us very well. We were assisted with wine choice and it proved to be delicious. Canapés were lovely, warm and savoury. Amouse Bouche was a celeriac velouté which was superb. I had Scallops to start, simply devine. Hubby had the quail... More
