Description: At Rocca St Andrews our recipe for success is a fusion of exquisite food...
At Rocca St Andrews our recipe for success is a fusion of exquisite food with a backdrop of one of the world's most famous sporting locations - the Old Course. Like the many champions that have graced the hallowed course, we too top the leaderboard as one of only 25 restaurants in the country with three AA Rosettes in 2013 - a reward for the creativity and passion of the Rocca family. The stunning view over the 18th means guests enjoy much more than just a delicious meal. Our menu features Scottish cooking with an Italian twist. Fresh ingredients are sourced from artisan producers either on our doorstep or in Tuscany and there is something to suit every palate. With a real pedigree in both our front-of-house and in our kitchen, you can rest assured a visit to Rocca will live long in the memory. Come and visit us and let our passion for food become your passion for delicious dining.

The food is good. Interesting flavours, textures and presentation of both starters and mains. The young front of house are very knowledgeable about the food and make sensible suggestions about wines. Their attention is very customer focussed. The more senior member of staff should probably move back to working at the Central Bar where his banter would be more appropriate.

As a treat for my boyfriends 30th birthday, his mother treated us to the famous taster menu paired with different wine. We were seated by the window with great views of the golf course. We were served by a few different waiters/waitresses who were very attentive without being too much. They were very knowledgable about the food and wine and... More

We tried to get in on Saturday but this place is very busy. Decided to go on Sunday evening for dinner and we're lucky to get a table, restaurant full and great atmosphere. We thought of having just one or two courses but instead chose the Tasting Menu. Well, it was really excellent. Full of terrific flavour and is highly... More

Thought would give it atry following the Masterchef victory. Food was very good and priced at the level you would expect. Service was a bit hit and miss with the senior staff trying hard but not pulling ut off. The waitresses are however good and probably are better than their managers. Worth a try.

Had a lovely birthday lunch with an iconic view over the Old Course and the West Sands. The service was faultless and the food was delicious. We had Jamie's Masterchief winning menu with the recommended wines and it was a triumph. Would recommend. The ambience of the room was great.

We went to Rocca after a long weekend of eating in various nice restaurants and thought we'd cap it off by visiting Rocca to sample some Masterchef winning food. Perhaps we'd spoiled ourselves a bit as we left feeling like we hadn't quite ended on the high note we'd expected. The food was for the most part very good and... More

We visited for lunch. Good table and very good service. Obviously the hotel is heavily promoting the Masterchef angle and I chose the winning starter of Arbroath Smokie veloute and crab. This was served with a doughball which was allegedly filled with the Smokie flesh and cheese. Mine was empty....and I mean devoid of any filling whatsever. Hugely disappointing start... More

We visited Rocca for lunch to sample Masterchef the Professionals winning menu and were not disappointed. The staff were excellent from bar to restaurant. I chose the winning menu and my husband chose three different courses all were superb. The bread was delicious and was offered with a choice of butter and/or oil and balsamic. The only small criticism, no... More

We visited Rocca for a birthday treat and because we had been avid Professional Masterchef viewers. We weren't disappointed. The service from the moment we arrived was impeccable. We both selected the Masterchef taster menu and my husband added the wine option too. Firstly we received some beautiful cheese scone biscuits, followed by different breads and an amouse bouche. Then... More
