Have often driven past The elbow Room but never thought about popping in for somethign to eat until recently. Plenty of parking at the rear, the restaurant area was easily to reach. Plenty of options to choose from on the menu and reasonably priced. Food was tasty and good sized portions, service was very good also. All in all, will... More

Staff as usual lovely, service good. The fish here is always fresh, however, they have changed their chips - which are not as nice as they used to be. The steak pie is now also - stew with a puff pastry lid instead of real home made steak pie. Portion of scampi was quite small with large amount of salad... More

I've eaten here a few times now and the food is consistently excellent. The first time I visited, I was slightly put off by the decor and the atmosphere - feels like you are sitting at school dinners! The menu is basic and exactly what you would expect in this kind of cafe/eatery. To start I had potato skins with... More

Having spend the afternoon in Kirkcaldy and waiting for an ice hockey game we were recommended to go to the Elbow rooms. Its just as well be arrived at 4.40 as despite the place being almost empty they made up a large table for us as all the other tables were pre booked and by 5 30 the dining room... More

Heard good things about the food here so decided to give it a go. food was not that great and the decor was pretty poor. Felt like I was 8 year old and eating my school dinner! I was scared I would get shouted at for not finishing! Was OK. Standard food for a reasonable price. Nothing special though, but... More

We stayed there for 4 nights and had a ball. The rooms are lovely, warm, clean and comfy. Would recommend it to anyone. The prices are very reasonable and the staff look after you very well.

The best steak pie in the town. Try and get here at least once a week with the missus. She likes the macaroni with the crispy topping. Good food and friendly staff 😃

I don't know if this place is under new management or has new kitchen staff but that's the second time in so many weeks I haven't enjoyed my meal. I ordered scampi which was overdone and dry and portion was stingy. The salad was wilted too. I have to say we have been going here for years and never before... More

Went to this restaurant with my wife. We ordered drinks and lunch, drinks arrived promptly but unfortunately we were NOT as lucky with our food order. After thirty five minutes and watching others that had ordered after us being served, we asked what had happened with our lunch. We were advised that the whip had been cracked and we wouldn't...
