Love the lentil soup which I've had today for lunch, me and boys go here on a regular basis for breakfast or just pancakes and always find the food great and service to!! The place is very busy some days and understand we might have to wait a little longer but hey that's life. Keep up the good work girls... More

It was a busy Saturday lunchtime and this place was packed but my father in law was craving a pancake so we decided to have a go. We ordered drinks, 2 soups, 2 kids burgers and a pancake with banana and maple syrup etc for the 5 of us. We asked if the soup could come at the same time... More

I reviewed the Pancake Place a while ago after a disappointing visit. We were in Dunfermline again at the weekend and my daughter wanted pancakes so we decided to try this place again. Wish we hadn't!! We were seated promptly and our order taken and then it was all downhill from there onwards. My daughter ordered the children's brunch which... More

The place was a mess!! The waitresses were clearly unhappy to be here especially the manageress. Chewing wasps is the best description of her face. The food was average and cold. Gone downhill of recent. Won't be back.

Most of the staff were very nice, except for the manageress whom was not very pleasant. The food was beautiful and a very reasonable price.

Visited last week, found the staff to be very friendly, both my wife & I had the soup & sandwich, which we both agreed was very good. During our meal the manageress took the time to ask if everything was O.K which I like. Due to work commitments, we don't visit as much as we would like, but when in... More

Stopped for lunch here with my daughter recently, we had been a few times before but this will be last. I had a Baked Potato with beans, the potato was burnt and tasted awful. My daughter had a Tuna Sandwich which was okay followed by a Pancake with chocolate sauce and cream, that was lovely as usual. With 2 soft... More

Me and my girlfriend stopped off here before we left Dunfermline as we were on a day trip from Edinburgh, on a spontaneous decision we decided we felt like pancakes, the place was quiet as it was a Sunday and it was easy enough finding a seat, the staff weren't over the top friendly and patronising like in a lot... Found this establishment a decent place for a snack. Food is good and served promptly. It benefits from being able to sit down and order a coffee without standing in a queue endesly waiting on someone to make a drink.

Glad you enjoyed your visit, we think the table service system is best as at least you are seated in comfort while waiting for your coffee rather than standing in a queue. More
