Never happened to visit here before but will likely be a favourite now on. Excellent soup & sandwich offer and the fillings on the sandwiches are somewhere between generous to incredible. Loved the touches of sampling the soup of the day in advance and the mini meringues with the tea and coffee. Topped off with friendly service it's certainly worth... More

We found this little cafe by chance and stopped for lunch. The food was excellent, generous portions, home made and well priced. The staff were very pleasant and friendly and we will go back next time we are in the area.

My friend and I visited this cafe for lunch on a shopping trip to the town after reading great reviews on Tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. The staff were so friendly and courteous and the food was delicious. I had the soup, sandwich and drink deal for £6- fantastic value for a lunch! We'll definitely be back to sample the... More

On entering the cafe you are greeted warmly. Service is polite and helpful, and on each visit we have been asked if we would like to have a sample of the soup of the day, which is a lovely idea. I have recently had to change to a wheat free diet and eating out - especially at lunch times when... More

As a recently diagnosed coeliac I noticed this little place while looking for local options to try for a gluten free lunch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and I was impressed by the range of gluten free options on the special menu. I had the soup, filled gluten free roll and coffee deal which was a great bargain... More

This place is wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone. Also the phone signal is pretty good, I'm writing this while contemplating which homemade ice cream to... More
