On entering the cafe you are greeted warmly. Service is polite and helpful, and on each visit we have been asked if we would like to have a sample of the soup of the day, which is a lovely idea. I have recently had to change to a wheat free diet and eating out - especially at lunch times when... More

As a recently diagnosed coeliac I noticed this little place while looking for local options to try for a gluten free lunch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and I was impressed by the range of gluten free options on the special menu. I had the soup, filled gluten free roll and coffee deal which was a great bargain... More

Stopped in for a late lunch today and found both the food and the service very good. This wasn't our first visit and we have never been let down! Portion sizes are generous and food is very tasty. The owner/chef is always cheerful, friendly and seems genuinely happy in his work. We will definitely be back!

My friend and I have visited cafe by the park on several occasions and the standard of food and service is very high. We always love a wee taste of the soup and the food and cakes are lovely. Definitely worth a visit then a walk in the glen.
