This establishment has undergone a massive revamp just last year. It is now themed to fit in with the spitfire memorial to the training squadron sited here around the war years . That's where the Abbotsinch name comes from. The bar has lost its old man,s pub image and is now a tasteful lounge type area where couples are comfortable... More

The best meal I've had in a long time and I'm going back sometime soon. To try something else on the menu and to take my friends with me to try it out too.

Great place for lunch or high tea. Pleasant staff, good food and reasonably priced. Would suit everyone. Children are made welcome too. Have been there on many different occasions and always had a great meal. Portions are very generous, especially love their macaroni, tastes like home made.

My wife and 2 daughters had and excellent meal, starter and main ,all different and were well pleased by the quality of food and service by a well trained staff. This was our 2nd visit and like the 1st time it was still as good. Go hungry as the portions are on the big side ,you certainly won't be disappointed.

What a change !!! Best meal I have had in such a long time. Didn't want to go initially as I had been to maharrata but so glad I did. Fish and chips, chicken tikka. Price fantastic (just in budget for us), portions huge (but was so tasty I still managed to finish it!) Presentation was great and the staff....well... More

Thought I would try this restaurant as ox gangs was closed for meals. Initially the experience looked promising however this was quickly diminished when food arrived. Although, starters were average the main meal was awful. The sauce of the meal was so overpowering , which was poured all over the entire plate of food it was impossible to eat any... More

have been here twice rec. to parties in the function room, which is lovely spacious and very comfy also has a bar so you don't need to leave the room unless to visit the ladies,-which could use a bit of t.l.c. I like the way the food is served by the staff at parties-- stovies, mac & cheese, and lasagne... More

Visited the Abbotsinch in a party of 15 for a Christmas night out. Found choice of menu very limited and the little twists such as a sauce with everything for example stornaway black pudding with haggis and brandy sauce, very off putting.I had smoked haddock and spring onion fishcakes which quite frankly looked like they had been made by a... Popped into the Abbotsinch and found a very passable menu. Food was served in a timely fashion and was cooked excellent. All in all a pleasant experience with professional staff looking after your requirements.

Five family members had lunch here on Tuesday. We received a warm welcome and there was no fuss when we requested a change of table. We sat in the conservatory area which is very pleasant. The menu has a good choice of meals. We ordered a mix of starters and main courses to be served together and this was organised... More
