5 of us visited at the weekend (1 wheelchair user and one 7 year old in the party). We were made very welcome, and the table was ready for the wheelchair to park at. The menu was really varied, and we all found it very easy to choose something we fancied (in fact, I struggled to choose as it all... More

The wheelhouse just keeps hitting the mark after years of visiting. It's had its ups n downs but what restaurant hasn't but tonight it delivered once again. Lynn was overseeing the restaurant and she was super attentive as ever. Our new waitress tonight was Katherine. Young, pleasant, and spot on customer service skills. We work in customer service and it's... More

Ate at the wheelhouse restaurant tonight and it was fantastic. We hadn't booked and although very busy staff managed to find us a table. We are regular diners there and would recommend it. Staff are always very helpful and eager to please.

Just a quick lunch stop for two after a long walk, broccoli and cauliflower soup had no substance - thin, watery and underseasoned, poor value at over £4.00. Dreadful lack of vegetarian options :( Poor overall !!

We had a delicious Sunday lunch here and enjoyed the cullen skink and beef and Yorkshire pudding. We were extremely pleased that the wait staff suggested that my mother and I split the main course because of the size of the portions. Thus we had perfect portions and it was delicious. I had never had cullen skink before and thought... More

I have had lots of lovely meals here with family and my husband. Our last visit was a Saturday night we so booked in advance via the online service which was quick and easy to use. Upon arrival we waited at the entrance for a good 5 minutes before anyone approached us to take us to our seats despite numerous... More

This is my go to restaurant for a good, enjoyable and reasonable meal. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. The decor is still good, book a booth as they are a little bit quieter and more intimate. The menu has a range of choices and the tapas are always a great way to start the meal. Special offers are... The food was nice, couldn't fault it, but the service could be improved. I was given the wrong dish, but this was quickly rectified. I also had to remind the waiter of my drinks order. I'd recommend the steak tartar :)

We recently celebrated our granddaughter's 18th birthday with a family meal, using our Tesco vouchers and it was very enjoyable. The staff were very good as was the meal.
