first time I've been in since I came home and wow what a difference the new decor has made to the place, the foods still good too which is a bonus.

My husband and I have been going here most Friday nights for the past three years and have never been disappointed. The fish tea is really good served with a nice salad, fresh tea and bread/butter and most reasonably priced. The staff are always keen to help and kept very busy, unlike a previous comment which said they stood around... More

I love this little fish and chip restaurant that is famous with everyone in this area and beyond. Their fish teas are legendary! Freshly made and plentiful! The only thing I would flag up about this place is their mugs of tea. When you order a fish tea it comes with a mug of tea or coffee. But for some... More

This cafe has been in many of my fondest memories, from when I was at school to present. Lovely chips and we like some things to stay the same as everything else seems to change.

Being a local i remember how it was, yes it had its heart ripped out and revamped and for most its not how they would like it now. But decor wise this should not effect peoples views of the food. Now i recently tried it after not being in since i was a teenager and have to say its just... More

I have been going into Moscardinis ever since I found out the serve gluten free batter with fish. My mum lives in Glasgow and she comes once a month for a Gluten free fish tea. The staff are really good, when ever my mum and myself go in the waitress knows our order... maybe we go in too often. I... More

Used to love the old Moscardini and the new owners have totally changed it. (I believe these are the 2nd ones since Paul M retired abd sold up). The modern decor is okay, clean, staffing level okay. Have to say I was disappointed in the batter they use, wasn't as crispy as the old M or another establishment just outside... More

Beside the name the old long benches and tables are all out and now it just looks like an ordinary cafe from anywhere in America where I live. I know the original owner PAUL MOSCARDINI retired (awful news) he was always in the kitchen doing some... More
