Excellent place to eat.

Just been to The Shore for some lunch for the first time. We had been looking for places to eat where we could take the dog. We were welcomed and shown to a table and our dog was given a dish of water. The food was amazing and service was excellent. Will definitely be back.

This is a nice place for food and drinks, good choice on the menu and good tasting food. The salt beef crostini is amazing!! I've only been a couple of times but I have enjoyed it both times and would recommend The Shore to family and friends.

Lovely little pub restaurant stuck away in a place I would never have found on my own. Thanks to my colleagues for recommending and guiding me there. The macaroni cheese is out of this world and dare I say it probably better than mum used to make it. Definitely go back sooner rather than later.

Been twice now and both times had a lovely meal. Disappointed on Sunday as the Sunday roast was finished. Very attentive staff, made to feel very welcome. We can recommend this and we will be back soon.

Visited last night with friends.. The place had a get atmosphere.. The starters and mains were great..tasty and good value..our friends desserts looked lovely and plentiful..my husband and I opted for cheeseboard between us.. Was pathetic..two very small pieces of Brie and two very thin slices of applewood smoked cheese. Small bunch grapes and quarter an apple and biscuits.. And... More

I have eaten here on several occasions, and have always found the food to be excellent. I love the seafood chowder. There is a great atmosphere here and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this pub/restaurant, and hope to visit again soon.

Pleasant staff provided a good start for a tasty meal. Food was good and nicely presented but perhaps lacked finesse. Portions quite large.

This place is best left to the narrow minded locals who have adopted it as their own. Our visit was soured by a local who used his dog to scare my wife, even after explaining that my wife was not comfortable with the dog. The bar staff did nothing to help although the incident took place within their sight. There... More
