Enjoyable meal

Went to the Shore for Mother's Day. Lovely meal and good choice of menu. Would have preferred heated plates but presentation was lovely and food tasty.

I visited The Shore yesterday lunchtime to celebrate my birthday. It was a wonderful experience. The quality of the food was outstanding. I had haggis and black pudding, followed by a truly delicious fillet steak, cooked to perfection. The staff were extremely efficient and went to great lengths to make my visit special. I love this place. I cannot recommend... More

Been here a few times before and never disappoints! Portions are large, food freshly cooked, well presented and good choices. Definitely recommend and surprised it isn't higher up the choices on tripadvisor! Noticed its a Dugs In Pubs place now so will be sure to go back with my dog.....another plus point!

An excellent gem in Carronshore with great quality food and top notch service - couldn't ask for any better at all. I had the Chicken Balmoral which was delicious and a good sized portion. all the food was warm and served promptly with very helpful and polite staff. I cannot wait to go back again!!

My fiancee and i visited The Shore as we have recently moved into the area and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant itself is very nice and has a good atmosphere and would be nice for a romantic meal. The service was very good and waitresses were attentive although it was busy. The food was fantastic! I highly recommend the rib... More

My partner and I visited The Shore for the first time a few nights ago and the food was absolutely brilliant!! We would highly recommend the haggis and black pudding starter, yummy!! The service was faultless and sitting next to the fire just added extra sparkle to a great evening!!

We have had lunch at the Shore several times and always enjoyed the varied menu. As our daughter lives in the area, my husband and I had an absolutely wonderful dinner in the restaurant last week. I can't praise the whole experience enough! Food was 1st class, service fantastic, in fact it was so good that we returned with our... More

We visited The Shore as they were listed on a "dog-friendly" website - emailed the pub in advance just to confirm. On arrival there was a large party in the bar area who were shortly to leave. The chap behind the bar advised us that we can eat in the bar area as the dog was not allowed in the... More
