Came to the shore with 4 friends yesterday lunch to have a quick catch up whilst watching the golf! The restaurant was busy so we had to sit in the bar, but that is never a problem to be honest! The manager was great and got our drinks promptly, and our food shortly followed. I had the Black Pudding stack... More

Been here a few times and never had a bad plate of food. Love the steak pie, very tender meat and always very big portion! I've never needed a starter or a dessert and I've always left feeling full! Staff are absolutely lovely cannot fault the place.

We eat here quite often as it's walking distance from our house. Fantastic food and good service. Great beer garden that gets the sun until quite late. Would definitely recommend you try here!

Friendly staff and great food. The fact they have sam Adams on draught has no bearing on my opinion. But it's a lovely beer. Seriously. Always great with a ever changing menu. First choice when in the area

Took my family for a meal on a Sunday evening. The food was good for the price, cooked and presented well, and very filling. However, the service was poor. We were served by an older, dark-haired lady who seemed to want us out of the restaurant from the moment we sat down. Every time we placed an order for drink... More

I was visiting The Kelpies and needed a restaurant for a late lunch. This restaurant had so many good reviews on Tripadvisor that we just had to try it. It was a wonderful meal, one of the best we've had for a long time. My wife had Pate and then Roast rib of beef, and I had scallops with pork... More

Have visited this restaurant quite regularly and never been disappointed. The food on offer is always generous with it's portions and cooked precisely as anticipated. The specials are a must, in particular the lamb kebabs. Friday nights have a great atmosphere, with the Shore quiz to get everyone in the mood for the weekend. Staff are always friendly and eager... Only one thing to complain about and that is I had no idea where the ladies was even though... More

I have had a meal here on a few occasions, but was slightly let down this time.Small portions, looked like they had run out of a few items to go with the meals. This was most probably the smallest curry I have seen,my Lamb cutlets were well cooked but they looked lost on the very large plates. It was extremely busy, due to the... More
