This was our second visit to this restaurant, several months apart. The front of house staff recognised me as I entered and welcomed me back. The food was excellent as was the service despite being served by the new girl. She was friendly and engaged us in conversation as she served. The son of the owner as usual floated around... More

Went based on reviews and wasn't disappointed. Had mixed samosa - fantastic, especially the lamb. Mains of Lamb and the Daily Special (mums recipe?). Lamb was melt in mouth, and the mums special was Chicken on the bone - best ever. More like stews than the usual run of mill barbq meat n sauce you get at other curry places.... More

We wanted good Indian food, so we looked on TripAdvisor for the top Indian restaurants. Kismot stood out by the overwhelmingly positive comments, so we chose it. We were not disappointed - the service was very great and very personal, and the food was outstanding. Comparing it to Jamie's Italian, where we had dinner the night before, Kismot was half... More

After inadvertently crushing the managers own mother in the door behind me as I walked in, I was greeted with a joke or two and a warm welcome. Absolutely first class host made some great suggestions for a pair of first timers, and even made my partner something that wasn't on the menu! The quality of food was superb, and... More

Thanks to the other reviews we visited Kismot on Bank Holiday Monday evening, and weren't disappointed. Akbar welcomed us as his 'pals from Ireland' and was good craic and very attentive. Food was very tasty and generous portions. Our young daughter enjoyed trying all the different flavours. Hope to be back soon.
