You can get a real mixed variety of dishes at Kismot - some sublime, some ridiculous. Some of the traditional home cooking can be raved about, some of the other dishes like chocolate naan and spicy curried haggis defy definition; stoner Indian fusion perhaps comes close to describing the latter. Visited Kismot during the fringe festival and it was faultless. Had mums curry which was superb. Service was great. Next time I'm up in Edinburgh...I'm booking a table!!!!

Been there few months ago it's nothing special same old style food is way to spicy and they put too much onions in everything. Very tight place toilets were quit dirty and had no toilet rolls. I don't think il be ever going back there again. 👎

We had a wonderful night and meal at Kismot while in Edinburgh. Everything we ordered from the menu, including Chicken Tikka Massallam, Chicken Jaipur and Madras were all spectacular. The staff hear are great. Honestly the staff could jot be better, very friendly, attentive and polite. all really nice people.

First came to this restaurant with my girlfriend as they had vegan options, and it is by far the best food i have ever eaten out. The whole place is fantastic. I have been here so many times now and it never fails to impress. Lovely people, lovely clean place and amazing curries!! Couldn't ask for anything more, everything about this place is perfect to me and I discover a new curry that I love every time I go :)
