The menu was impressive. Most Indian restuarants present you with huge tomes with dozens of dishes. This one was only 4 pages and given that the five in our party were all impressed with our meals they seem to go for quality rather than quantity in this establishment. They also served lassi which is not always the case.

I found this place using google maps, it's very unassuming on first glance and simply furnished. We didn't realise it was a bring your own bottle place so settled for soft drinks. We ordered 2 rice dishes, 2 curries, 1 nan bread and 3 drinks. The food was very good, not at all greasy or stodgy and it was full... More

If you like curry I would recommend Red Fort. They offered a great variety of curry dishes at very reasonable prices.

I went there with my friend and it was her first Indian restaurant and I am very sorry to have taken her there. I was amazed by the varieties of curry and it all tasted good but the nan bread was cold and hard. As my understanding, nan is something soft and just hot out of oven so I was... More

Been coming here for years for simple, no-nonsense curry, but I'll think carefully before I do again. New banquet was £10 more expensive on the menu that it was online. Waiter tried to blag that I had got hold of the takeaway menu, which I hadn't. He only gave us a measly 10% off. The three starters turned out to... More

Stumbled in after a busy day..... The policy here is BYOB which is great. The amount of food provided is immense and the quality of food is beautiful. Just when I felt happily satisfied and full I spotted a mouse running across the restaurant..... It entertained me for a short while before it ran in to the back room. Lovely... More

Red fort was a favourite of mine in university and I have revisited recently. This place is a friendly and great Indian restaurant. The staff are great and often provide discounts to regulars. I would definitely recommend both the buffet, which had good choice and excellent value for money, and a la carte. The chaats are good to start and... More

This is a BYOB restaurant. Quite small and the buffet lunch is good and fresh. Not a huge choice but caters for everyone. The chicken chat is amazing and the food is topped up so nobody goes without. Would recommend a visit.

This is in the heart of the student area hence the decent prices. We have been here about three times & the food is always good. There is a buffet on the go or you can order from the menu. The décor is not the most appealing but it does the main job that is to serve good food &... More
