Fabulous dinner, the best we had in Edinburgh! We also ate at the tower and the witchery and wedgwood was the best. I asked if we could have a nice table for my mums birthday and they didn't let us down. Great table and a candle at the end of the meal was a lovely gesture. Thank you. Lovely starters... More

Having grown up in a deer hunting family, I've eaten venison from an early age. I didn't expect to see venison on the menu, yet there it was. Imagine venison paired with red beets (beetroot in the UK). To die for. I'm still savoring this meal now after several days. This establishment wowed me and my fellow passengers. Each plate... More

Tried with my wife and two daughters in the middle of August. Well positioned in the Royal Mile( not the busiest part toward the castle). Nice, cozy place with relatively few places. Good food but the price was a little bit excessive. We only took one main course each ( lamb in three different versions and beef fillet) water and... More

We visited Wedgwood at the end of August. It is Cannongate and is an elegant and contemporary restaurant. I particularly liked the fact that there was not too many tables and so you did not feel that you were too close to other diners, this made the experience more personal. As someone who suffers from a severe food allergy I... More

My family of six ate here on our one night in Edinburgh during summer travels in Scotland. We were not disappointed! The place is on the Royal Mile but down a bit from the busiest part. Though the interior doesn't have a ton of character, it's a quiet, elegant place with very quality food. We greatly enjoyed our dinner experience.... More

We booked Wedgwood for a pre-Edinburgh Military Tattoo meal. The tour of Scotland with matching wines caught our eye. Unfortunately, given the pricing of the 'experience' I'd say they fell a little short and it was just average. Both the fish elements were 'soggy' and some other bits and pieces weren't particularly well cooked. I don't know if it was... More

I found an artery in my venison meatballs- Disgusting. Artery aside, the food was tasteless. Would not recommend.

Obviously I respect the right of others to their opinions but I really cannot find any fault with this place. The staff are charming and knowledgeable, the room is intimate and the food is simply excellent. Beautiful to look at, superbly executed and it's absolutely not expensive for the quality of product. Yes, you're looking at £50-60 a head with... More

For one starter, 3 mains, 2 desserts, 5 glasses of redwine and two bottles of beer we paid 175 pounds plus tip. This would have been okay if the quality of the food and wine was outstanding. However there was nothing special with the mains! The dishes looked nice but tasted like anything else you buy at the pubs. That... More
