Seating both upstairs and downstairs so don't be put off if it looks full on street level. The food is very varied with lots of good choices and the dishes we had were very well cooked. Nice staff too. Looking forward to returning.

Visited for lunch on a busy day, seated downstairs in the quieter section. Great menu choice, opted for the specials which vary often, and the flavouring was fantastic, very well seasoned and cooked. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely come back.

The fact that we arrived early for our booking then had to wait for one of the party was no problem. The service was excellent and so was the food. A gentleman at a table near the speaker asked for the music to be turned down and it was done instantly.

A hugely varied menu, with many parts beautifully cooked! The venison and the lamb three ways were particular highlights! The service was great we were never left with glasses unfilled, we felt very welcome. The pallet cleanser was an interesting addition! Overall a great dining experience.

A somewhat disappointing day in my week of Edinburgh set lunch dining. Given the rave reviews, I thought it would be better. (I'd give a 3.5 stars, not just a 3). Atmosphere was fine, service was kind and attentive. I'm pretty sure there were 4 choices for each course (rather than 3), but none really grabbed me. The fish cake... More

We were given a table downstairs with a few other diners. It quickly became apparent we were not valued. Had we been we would have seen a waitress more often. Two tables didn't have deserts. Our wait was dreadful. No apologies just rudeness from one waitress. The food when it came was wonderful.

We had dinner at the Wedgwood on June 22nd. We were initially shown to a table for 2 by the entrance which did not suit us, the waitress without any issue, showed us to a better table in the lower level, which was more comfortable however, this level is lacking atmosphere. The food and service were very good and we... More

After 7 days of typical Scottish food, the Wedgewood was a delightful treat. The gazpacho was fresh and brightly seasoned. The gnocchi dish included beets and wild mushrooms and fennel. The venison meatballs were tender and bursting with flavor. The price was reasonable at 12.95. If you are a foodie in Scotland, give this a try.

We were first diners on a Saturday lunchtime but by time we left more than two hours later some tables were on second sitting. The food was exquisite with the three course set menu excellent value. The staff were attentive without being too intrusive but there knowledge of the menu was most informative when we were trying to decide. There... More

At the start of our trip to Edinburgh we had a wonderful lunch at Wedgwood, so on our last night we decided to try it for dinner. The menu is a little quirky, but please don't let it turn you off. Anything you order will surprise and delight you. Give it a try. I'll be back.
