Went there on 18/10/14 with family, tried to get into a couple of other places first but they were busy,so we went into chungs I really wish we didn't . My partner and I go out all the time to eat and I can honestly say this is the worst food I've ever had . Never have I been to a... More

Visited here with my lunch club in Sept. 14. We enjoy dining out but this experience was one of the worst. It was busy but not too bad. We stood at the front door for 15 minutes before a rude member of staff approached us and pointed to a table. None of us had visited before and so didn't know... More

Been going to Chungs on and off for about 5 years..... Usually really nice, but went during festival and was really dissapointed... food was very pedestrian not up to its usual.... We were also asked for payment up front. Now I have been to chinese buffets in London and only really bad ones ask for payment up front as they... More

6 friends dined here on Monday 13/10/14 - it was very, very disappointing. To begin with the welcome we got was appalling (we should have left then); we then ordered and a monosyllabic waitress said £97-50 (or whatever it was) without any explanation at all, we were all a bit bemused..... but anyway what she was asking for was payment before... Besides the outrageous cost for two dinners on the cafeteria menu the food was barely edible. I know my chinese restaurants around the world and this was close to the worst. There were a few choices I could recognise as being close to the name associated with the dish. I had hoped for a decent meal unlike what was being... More

Oh wow this was amazing. We popped in here on a whim on our first night in Edinburgh and was not disappointed, so much food to choose from I went up 5 times for food and once for pudding came out stuffed and could have done with an hour in bed had we not been going on a walking tour.... More

Recently visited Jimmy Chung's we were guided to a table promptly by a nice waiter who welcomed us and handed us over to another who would be our waiter for the visit Our orders were taken easily and shown to the buffet The food was ok and the restaurant was clean and tidy However nothing to write home about

I just ate out at the jimmy Chungs in Edinburgh Waverley for dinner, I've not been in a few years and I'm so disappointed in just about everything since the last time i was there. The place had the feeling of some sort of food kitchen , the place was disgusting the walls were in such bad condition and hadn't... More
