Ok so let me begin by saying, i love chinese food. I love a good chinese buffett and tend to have them wherever i am visiting in the UK or abroad. But this restaurant is so poor in quality that my normally 'non fussy' attittude, turned to utter disappointment. The food was not fresh, and everything seemed to taste the... More

Chinese buffet is by far the meal I would chose. We had heard poor reports before going, but the only real thing against it is the 'plastic' Happy Birthday singing. The food was OK, not brilliant, but acceptable - staff were a bit hard to fnd.

We went in and regretted the choice almost instantly. Having used to dine at Jimmy Chungs for a long time, this visit was disappointing to say the least and will be our last. It seems it's the fate of Chinese buffets to fall a few years in, such as China China before it. Sadly the magic has left as have... More

We went on Saturday night and it was £15 each which was a little pricey for what was on offer. The staff weren't very friendly either. But if you like all you can eat buffets this is good but there are certainly better buffets to be found in the city!

Went here on the 17th Jan at fist looked good with a lot of choice, how wrong was I. The staff barely spoke any English and stood over you watching u eat making you feel very awkward and clearly wanted you out. All the dishes tasted the same, the chicken wasn't chicken and the duck wasn't duck so god knows... More

Came out of the Waverley train station my wife and I and decided to nip in to Jimmy Chungs for a buffet lunch as it was handy . Not a good start as we passed the side of this restaurant and a cook was standing out the back having a fag. Hope he washed his hands. The food was to... More

Lots of choice of Chinese dishes,a good opportunity to try things you might not usually try. Plenty choice for the 3 courses of your meal. Not long to wait on a table, quick service. Only thing is I think the kids age/price could be cheaper. I have to pay adult for my son who eats very little. Would go back but... More

Near to Princess Street we went here for our evening meal whilst staying in Edinburgh. Lots of choice and good food at reasonable fixed price. What more can you ask for.

Jimmy chungs was a must do on the list according to the partner who has eaten there many times, what a mistake. Whilst attractively priced it's clear why, most of the food is evidently left for many hours, anything battered will likely be soggy or dry and chewy. And the rice dishes more than a little dry, clearly gone down... More
