Welcoming bar with excellent service and the best burgers in Edinburgh. I've visited the bar over a dozen times and had just about every offering on the menu, it's consistently excellent and one of Edinburgh's hidden gems. Staff are friendly and always happy to have you taste their new ales. Book ahead if you think it might be busy and... More

Whilst visiting Edinburgh on a short break recently, we were looking for somewhere to eat and came across The Cambridge Bar. Well what can I say the Nachos were to die for and the Burgers were absolutely gorgeous, washed down with a nice couple of ciders and beers mmmm

I had walked past this place a million times and never knew about the food it done. Went with some friends and had the teriyaki burger it was incredible and then one week later I went back for the Aussie burger! It's a great little hidden place. One of the best burgers I've had!

A great place for very good and proper Gourmet Burgers a very wide and good selection of beer and friendly staff. Nice and laid-back / relaxed and a great evening out. I ordered a beef burger with pulled-pork and that is what you get - nothing on the side unless ordered but a very nice variety of sauces - thoughtfully... More

In summary, a great place hidden in the back streets. Brilliant for beers and ales, with tvs for sport. However the highlight were the very delicious fresh tasting burgers. Brilliant. The chocolate brownie was also fantastic. I thought it was reasonably priced too, for the centre of Edinburgh. Coming back, soon......

While searching for places to eat in Edinburgh online we stumbled across the Cambridge Bar and it's wonderful reviews so decided to try it. It is a little bit hidden but as long as you have a phone with gprs/maps you can find it no problem. It's located down a little side street off the main centre/road of Edinburgh. The... More

Off the beaten track, The Cambridge is a bit of a find for us over the last year or so, returning multiple times. Family friendly pub with good service and excellent burgers, milk shakes and drinks. Can get busy at the end of working day so booking normally important during the week in particular.

I've been visiting the Cambridge Bar off and on for over 10 years and the service, quality of burgers and great selection of beers continue to make this a must-visit city centre venue. This is especially true for big football and rugby union matches where their screens and a great atmosphere make for a good time. Of course, their burgers... More

We stumbled upon this great little spot whilst searching for somewhere to get lunch. Friendly knowledgeable staff, fantastic burgers and a great selection of the freshest cask ales we tried on the whole holiday. I know where I'm going for lunch the next time I'm in Edinburgh! :-)
