I visited this place in April and was a little disappointed after all I had read. The ground level (upstairs) dining area is a little too "French Cafe" for me and a little clinical. Nothing I could put my finger on but I was expecting more cosiness I guess. The service was good and friendly and some helpful knowledge about... More

Bizarrely without any warning when we phoned to book we found ourselves outside a restaurant now called Pulcinella where Le Sept used to be. It has turned into an Italian Restaurant. According to staff had been sold in January and renamed 1 April but website still has Le Sept details and menus and no one thought to advise us when... More

Finally found #5 Hunt Square only to find Pulcinella, an Italian restaurant which has replaced Le Sept. Didn't stay as we just came from Italy and I was really looking forward to the onion soup.

As locals we have used Le Sept over a long period and recommended it to many. Le Sept has an excellent menu choice with well cooked and presented dishes. On our latest visit the restaurant was quiet despite the centre of the City being busy. The price of our drinks was high and we found it necessary to query the... More

This long established informal French restaurant can be relied upon for good value French cuisine. The luinch menu at £9 for two courses and £11 for three offers a good selection of main courses including a number of vegetarian options. The crepes here are particularly good, there is a selection of fillings and they come smothered in a genorous helping... More

Went to Le Sept on January 19th. It was open with a fresh coat of paint and refinished floors. The new owners have maintained the same menu items of crepes, soup, etc and have also added Italian menu items. The price was very good as I had arrived for a pre theatre dinner special (2 courses for 11 pounds). I... More

As a huge fan of Le Sept for over 9 years myself and some friends decided to pop along on Sunday (6th January ) for a spot of lunch. But to my surprise/shock we found the restaurant shut and a sign in the window saying it had closed down and would re-open under new ownership soon. So thanks Le Sept... More
