Perfect Saturday Lunch (Valentine's Day)

Last visit was for the pre-theatre menu a year and a half ago and we really ought to have returned sooner. Valentine’s Day fell on a Saturday, and they didn’t invoke the Sap’s Charter that elsewhere would’ve meant the usual special Saturday lunch menu was declared out of bounds, so off we went... read more

Table booked for 5.30 arrived 5 mins early which panicked the front of house staff. They wanted us to leave and come back when it was torrential rain outside! Eventually advised it was OK to sit at a table just inside the door whilst the restaurant was made ready. 3 out of the 4 starters were delicious and we all... More

This is one of the best thai restaurants I have ever visited. And exactly because of that, you definitely need to make a reservation. We called Saturday afternoon and wanted to come in the evening. They managed to rearrange a table, so we could be seated, but if we had been a party of more than two, they couldn't have.... More

We visited Passorn on a busy Valentines day night. We both love thai food (my partner used to live there), and had heard this was a hidden gem. Passorn did not disappoint! We both deviated from our usual starters and tried the crispy sea bass and seared scallops - both fantastic and packed with flavour. My sea bass starter was... More

Visited Passorn for the first time last Saturday night with my husband before going to see a play at the Kings theater, from entering we were treated impeccably, chair pulled out, napkin placed on knee, our waiter was extremely helpful giving us advice on the menu, we chose to share our starters and main, we had fish cakes and chicken... I've been here many times, the food is always so tasty. Not often do I feel inclinded to lick a plate, but honestly there are times when I've eaten Passorn's Monkfish main dish that I literally want to take the plate under the table and clean it myself- it's really that good. Probably the best tasting thing I've ever eaten!... More

We went on a Thursday evening and at first were a bit put off as we were the only ones in there at 7pm. But the place picked up and most tables were full by 8pm. The food was fantastic, we ate the veg spring rolls between us and then a beef red curry and 2 king prawn green curry's.... More

We been going to Passorn for many years for family, birthday and Corporate dinner when we have guests from oversea but was very disappointed with their attitude last Saturday 24/01/15 as my husband was trying to book a table for my birthday dinner with my family who lived in London and Aberdeen. My husdand mentioned during the booking that our... More

The food was exceptional. The blend of Thai spices was different and delicious, some I have never heard of. Not just a typical Thai restaurant blast of chilli but some lovely unusual flavours. I would recommend it to any one.
