Saturday lunch will never be the same. A very long over due second visit to this restaurant. Previously I thought you could not better it, probably not, but I forgot how wonderful the experience could be. From arrival to departure every aspect of this experiance was first class. Food combinations, textures, presentation what can I say it "Set the heather... More

Sometimes people complain about going hungry after a fine dining experience. I can assure you that this will not happen here. The six course tasting menu is a bit of a misnomer, as we were served up at least a dozen perfectly cooked items. From pre-starters, to pre-deserts, to petits fours. The absolute stand-out dish for me was the scallop... More

The "Classic" Tasting menu last night (fish tasting & vegetarian tasting options too). Phenomenal food, with about 6 amuse bouche/additional courses to add to the 6 on the menu. Impeccable flavour combinations, stunningly presented. The plates are even spectacular! Great service from all the staff we encountered. I simply don't understand why this place has not got a 2nd Michelin... More

This was our 4th visit. We travelled from Doncaster for the night just to dine once more at our very favourite restaurant. We weren't disappointed. The food and staff and venue are always of a really high standard. I can't for the life of me understand why an experience here does not merit 2 stars. For goodness sake Michelin.... Please... More

Everyone should experience just how fine dining in elegant surroundings should be. Staff are 'old school' french efficient with very careful and discrete service with every course. The tasting menu has a delicious Scottish bias not surprisingly with the is sort of quality of ingredients available. Happy to mix and match the fish tasting menu with the other tasting menus... This was a treat we were looking forward to for a long time and we were not disappointed. There was an a la carte menu, and three tasting menus (fish, meat and vegetarian) available. I don’t usually eat fish but I had to try it given where we were so my wife and I both went for the fish tasting... More

Thanks to my sister and a happy anniversary we went to this restaurant. After some cajoling we settled on the chef's tasting menu with accompanied wines. Never was a better decision made. Tout c'est fantastique BUT the Mexican style halibut ceviche was to die for. Before it came I asked my sister what ceviche was and after her reply said... More

Food & atmosphere was perfect - warm, welcoming, comfortable and service was genuine. We visited on the last night before they closed for a few weeks over the New Year and the service and food did not falter throughout the whole evening. We were the last to leave and the staff made us feel welcome throughout. Food was very memorable... More

Wow, this place is fantastic, outstanding food and excellent service. Turning up half an hour late for our reservation because we couldn't get a taxi in bad weather didn't phase them at all. The waiters knew the menu well, and easily knew the gluten-free options. The wine pairings were well thought out. We were able to swap things out of... More
