Two of us went for dinner. Staff forgot about my popadom order as a starter, even though they brought out other half's starter on its own, then brought the main after it, so missed out on my popadoms :( Asked staff for advice on how hot a dish was, as I like hot Indian food. I was told not to... More

Surprisingly light and well seasoned for Indian food. Good wine list too. Recommend the Chilean Merlot which goes perfectly with the food. Lovely service. Easy parking. Excellent family owned restaurant.

Absolutely great Indian restaurant. The owner personally came over and thanked us for coming in. Me and my family will definitely be coming here again.

Been to loads of curry houses all over the city and this one ranks as average, nothing wrong with the meal, just feel that there are a lot of far better curries to be had in Edinburgh

The waiters aren't au fait with spacial awareness. They constantly invaded our space, be it picking up a chair next to us and banging it against us, stretching over you very closely to pick something up, asking us four times if we're ready to order and the head waiter (who appeared to be visually impaired) actually leant against our table... We were a little apprehensive about trying this restaurant, having read some the negative reviews. However, the food was lovely and the waiters very polite.

We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Tonight we had a jalfrezie each - one lamb and one chicken. Both were excellent, and the lamb in particular was tender and succulent. We had a bottle of the house wine, which was very good and very cheap. The service was very efficient and friendly. Altogether another extremely... More

This is a first for us , an Indian restaurant with a nautical theme! Chose this restaurant as it was a minute's walk from the holiday inn we were staying at. Although I had booked a table for 6 people I had to help the waitress push two tables together, strange considering the place was almost empty of diners. The... More
