Small Italian, really friendly, excellent service. Fish specials are to die for if there are any left when you go! Lovely, welcoming experience, good for families as well as pals/couples

Another trip to Edinburgh another meal in Domenicos - we just can't see past it honestly, some of the nicest food known to man in this wee tucked away restaurant - all at such a reasonable price too it is always our first stop whenever we visit Edinburgh. Tasty spicy mussels to start, followed by locally picked chanterelles and scallops... More

Husband and I were looking for somewhere to eat out in Edinburgh and headed for The Shore in Leith as it was a nice evening. This was the first restaurant the satnav brought up. Tucked in a side street of the main road, there was little or no noise in this intimate wee place. The house white wine was very... More

45 minutes from walking in to leaving. Wife was away. Tins of beans or takeaways wouldn't do. I was very well looked after by the waiter. He recommended a salad, a seafood pasta and a tirimisu. All very good. All served with charm in a convivial atmosphere and the cooking and ingredients were high end for such reasonable prices charged.... More

This is a lovely little Italian restaurant, tucked away behind the Cameo bar. We dined here on a Friday evening, a little later on but the restaurant was still reasonably busy. The menu is probably the briefest I've seen, but thankfully there were also a few specials to choose from. We both opted for the seafood stew. It was a... More

We are regulars both at lunchtime and for an evening meal. If you want good food, good service and reasonable prices this is the place to go! Even at lunchtime when the "panini" queue reaches the outside street, you always get good professional service. Portions are large so go hungry!!

The lunch-time takeaway counter at Domenicos can be busy as the food IS delicious but myself and my work colleagues experience appalling customer service on a regular basis. Two female staff members in particular are extremely rude and while we appreciate they may be busy - they are very pushy with the customers - to the point we have a... More

From the fresh starters, through the beautifully cooked mains, the decadent deserts, the limoncello, the coffee all washed down with a litre of house red - we come back to this place every time we visit Edinburgh. We forgo more expensive restaurants just for the love of Domenico's. We are always there on a Friday or Saturday and without fail... More
