Came in with my lady at around lunch time. We shared pancakes, soup of day and a pesto chicken and jarlsberg sandwich! All were of high quality. There were plenty staff available providing attentive but non invasive service. The decor and furniture are grand and well thought out with nice art work on the walls (for sale).

We had to try a Scottish breakfast with haggis before we left Edinburgh. Since we were staying at the Premier Inn, this was a perfect stop before heading into town (the bus stop is just across the street). We were met with a warm welcome, and found a nice comfortable table for 4 near the back. The decor is "cozy"... More

Stayed at the premier inn down the bank, and read the reviews of this cafe so decided to pay it a visit. We both ordered the breakfast buns and mugs of tea. Very friendly service, enjoyed the buns so much we came back the next day. Everything we saw looked very tempting.

I love this place! They serve an awesome full breakfast and the most delicious cakes. My friend and I camped out in front of the fire for a few hours (to plan our holiday) and they were very accommodating. Excellent customer service. Cheers!

I visited here on a sunny Sunday afternoon in December for brunch. The menu was great, the prices were more than reasonable and the food was incredible. I had the pancakes of the day (raspberry and white chocolate) and they were some of the best i've ever had. I also had tea which came loose leaf in a teapot with... More

Decided to travel across town for breakfast on a Sunday morning (well 1.30pm) and enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere of this little cafe. Both the fry up and pancakes were wonderful/fluffy and we shall be back..

We came here on the strength of the Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. It was busy on a Sunday morning but we were able to get a table near the window and had a lovely Scottish cooked breakfast. We even bought some cakes for lunch.

I ate breakfast here a few days ago. My scrambled egg on toast was nice. And gluten free bread was available. It's an interesting interior lots of thing to look at. What spoiled my breakfast was the women near by with her young son who said I wasn't very nice. For no reason what so ever. Just a very ignorant... More
