Good food, excellent service and great value for money. Unpretentious and does what it does really well. Would far rather visit here than some chains that lack personality.

What a great place - the food was tasty and big portions, the staff very friendly and efficient and all for a good price. The half soup and half sandwich deal is a good one. Nice coffee and sone too. The decor is brilliant too - it takes you back in time and my girlfriend said "it's like having lunch... More

Once again the Haven impressed. It was our second visit and it was all good. The girls are as pleasant as any you'll find and the food was as good as ever. I do take on board that good food is served elsewhere but the overall feel is second to none. Five stars.

A bit like eating in a charity shop but the food was well cooked at a reasonable price. It was quite busy so by the time our food arrived we had finished our drinks

My friend and I went here on Sunday morning on recommendation from the person we were renting a flat off for the weekend. From the moment we arrived the service was warm and friendly, with a nice element of calm in the kitchen despite it being a hive of activity. We both opted for the cooked breakfast, however as neither... More

Have had breakfast 3 or 4 times over last few months at this small cafe. It's very basic and inexpensive. Visited again this week and felt it was looking tired and not so clean. Food was just ok, not great to. E honest and a bit greasy. Don't think we will return as better places nearby.

My friend and I went for brunch here and it did not disappoint. We were greeted by very friendly staff with a quick service - despite it being very busy! There was lots to chose from the menu - rolls, french toast, porridges, pancakes, full english breakfast and even fruit granola!? I loved the atmosphere the vintage decor brought (and... More
