Hidden Gem

There are numerous cafés in Leith but I doubt if there are many as good as the Renroc. I use it on my way to the football at at Easter Road. Service is always good and the food never disappoints. Can be a bit cramped at times if busy, which it frequently is. Off the main walking routes but worth... read more

Renroc is a fab, relaxed and informal hideaway for coffee and food lovers. The breakfasts are delicious. Bacon rolls that will make you want to weep, Illy coffee, fresh juice and a lovely atmosphere. Home made soup each day and great salads, sandwiches and frittatas etc. We go on our own for chilled out coffees and with the kids for... More

We love this little place! We haven't actually had food as we usually go for coffee and cake! It's a great place to sit and relax, very comfortable setting. Would definitely recommend!

Fabulous place to meet friends and enjoy great food and hospitality. Always a warm welcome and great atmosphere especially now that the Christmas decorations are up. Lovely new menu. Definitely one of Edinburgh's best kept secrets.

Always a warm welcome from all the staff in here. Cosy and stylish interior which makes for a great place to hang out and relax or catch up with work (free wi-fi). Great soup (the parsnip and butter bean was just brilliant!) and, as other folk have said, the best bacon rolls - a really nice roll (not any old... More

Fantastic day out at Cafe Renroc, 9 ladies in high spirits (full of Prosecco) enjoyed delicious food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. A hidden gem in Edinburgh that I would highly recommend. Loved the Christmas party boxes in place of crackers.

I have been here a few times now and I never failed to be impressed - by the food, the relaxed atmosphere and by the welcome. It is one of those places you kind of want to keep to yourself as your own special place, but it's too good not to share and I keep taking friends there, who have... More

Great service, value, food & wine. The relaxed atmosphere and prices were a bonus. Well worth a visit even just for coffee and one of their freshly made cakes.
