I have been here a few times now and I never failed to be impressed - by the food, the relaxed atmosphere and by the welcome. It is one of those places you kind of want to keep to yourself as your own special place, but it's too good not to share and I keep taking friends there, who have... More

Great service, value, food & wine. The relaxed atmosphere and prices were a bonus. Well worth a visit even just for coffee and one of their freshly made cakes.

Cafe Renroc is a hidden gem well worth a visit. The menu covers something for everyone and the food is always fresh. I can highly recommend the full Montgomery breakfast. There's a real family friendly atmosphere which is down the staff.

Discovered this little gem on a recent trip to Edinburgh. Great, chilled vibe with a good menu choice to suit whatever time of day you visit. Great coffee and brunch menu, friendly service and love the blankets provided on the outdoor tables for those slightly cooler days...us soft southerners feel the cold! We would definitely be regulars if we lived... More

Everytime I pop into Renroc either for a quick coffee or a bite to eat I never want to leave. The place is so relaxed and chilled you soon feel very at home here. The coffee is the best I've tasted and I know my coffee! Full breakfasts are amazing and really well priced compared to other places nearby. Service... More

We have been here on more than 1 occasion. Service can be a bit hit and miss and a bit superior. I enjoyed the fajitas but the amount of dried herbs was overwhelming. I mentioned this and the woman in charge semed to take on board. However, on my next visit, more of the same. For this reason, I wont... More

Needed to get some work done while we were in Edinburgh so popped into Cafe Renroc for a latte and a bit of wi-fi hogging. We sat in the big spacious and beautiful basement, the wi-fi signal was excellent, and the atmosphere was one of peace and relaxation. We didn't once feel hassled, even as the sun came out and lunch... More

Wonderful place. Has the ambience of a continental "terrasje". We sat outside watching the world go by. Even when it started to rain we simply moved inside to a lovely, cosy vaulted-ceiling, underground setting. After we had had drinks and had waited for more than an hour for food the waitress apologised profusely and said that the kitchen had never... More
