Great food and beautiful restaurant. Have never been disappointed! Staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
After a hospital visit, Mrs eLaReF suggested going to our favourite Indian. I pointed out that it was Saturday night around 20:30 - No chance of a table & a take-away would be around 45 mins. So, since Jashans is relatively near to our house, we tried there. As the 'Moat Bar' it used to be my lunchtime pub-haunt many... More
Had a very nice dinner on our wedding anniversary this year at Jashans. The food was flavoursome and well-presented. The decor was Morden and classy and the service was attentive without being intrusive. They were flexible to accommodate to my request. The manager Mo personally came to meet and wish us on our anniversary. In short, highly recommended.
My boyfriend and I went for a meal and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Service was quick and polite. Food was delicious and not too filling, portion sizes were just right. Toilets were very clean and sophisticated. Decor was modern too. All round a lovely meal and would return!

My second visit .... excellent meal at a reasonable price. Very good portions with friendly, attentive service. Will definitely be going back when in Edinburgh!

We got poppadoms while we waited for our starter, which were good sized portions (almost too filling), then the delicious mains. Some on our table had biriani, others traditional curry, which came out on metals trays with lit candles under to keep it hot. The staff... More
