Hi guys, Does any of you know why they closed down? As they are the only German food restaurant in town and with some decent reviews I am wondering why they would give up business. I was actually planning on eating there soon... :/ Real shame. Thanks, Alex

Hey folks, I know there is a lot of people wondering why Frankfurter Eck has closed it's doors recently. Just thought I'd let you know that it has indeed seized trading. Sucks, I know. Only heard a rumor as of why (to which isn't important anyway and not for me to say here) but as it stands, it will be... More

It's a tiny wee place that doesn't look like anything special but the food is really delicious. If you're looking for big hearty portions with lots of flavour then this is the place. I've been in 3 times and each time was special: good friends, BYOB and great food. Good value.

This place is small! It's got little tables and the toilets are down a hatch in the floor, and they are on speed dial on my phone. My advice is know what you want and order 20mins before you arrive because the chef here is committed to real cooking. No deep fryer or microwave for modern convenience, just a love... More

Great little place, with simple but tasty food and a wonderful charm. We would recommend booking as there are only 4 tables, and don't be surprised to find out where the toilets are

generally do not have time to write reviews but I thought this was worth. a very good restaurant experience. Me and my girlfriend went in and the service was good and the food simply amazing. There was a table of four next to us whom were not sure when they sat initially but by the end of their meal they... More

Birthday meal for my partner who loves Germany so brought him as a surprise. Restaurant was full of German customer and then the reserved table for 2 for us. Food and service was outstanding. Only negative is the size and the cold temperature of the place. Will revise after the refurb. Highly recommended! Lexi

As a German I know what good German food tastes like and the dishes that were served to us today at the Frankfurter Eck would be very delicious even compared to many restaurants in my home country. The service was friendly and entertaining, the atmosphere nice and homey. Food is neither cheap, nor expensive, but defintely worth its price, since... More

Found this place by accident. Is close to Holiday Inn Express city and close to theatreas and cinemas. Tiny, modest, friendly and owner operated. Food was magnificent - perfect desert for a birthday surprise for someone. Was quite expensive and only takes cash which is a nuisance when travelling. We were emptying out pockets to pay. Would recommend they get... More
