Clean, crisp surround with lovely attentive, personal touch. Amazingly diverse menu with obvious fresh ingredients and crab linguine and lobster ravioli to die for with lemon cake to salivate over after. A real delightful find and will be back although cramped toilets a negative if you are doing a tour of them in Scotland!

One of the better quality Italian restaurants I have been to in Edinburgh. I had a delicious, delicate lobster ravioli and the kids loved their pasta dishes. There is no kids' menu as such and the menu isn't huge- but they had a good choice of favourites such as lasagne and succulent macaroni cheese (not your standard frozen/re-heated stuff). A... More

Lovely wee place. I recommend it. Very warm place where you are greeted with a smile and although I came in for coffee and cake I'll make sure I'll be coming in for a meal next time. Top Marks. Thank You.

This restaurant was fab. we were made to feel very welcome with guidance from our waitress about the cocktails and specials. Four of us have very different tatses and there was something for us all. walkable to the thetre small enough to be intimate and quiet allowing us to do all the catch up we needed to do. Would definately... More

The pasta dishes we had here were some of the best in Edinburgh! Food came promptly and the server was very sweet and friendly. They did not hesitate to ask if we wanted any extra ingredients in our pasta when my partner was very picky and making changes. The seating area was the very tinyest bit cramp. We were lucky... More

Pre Playhouse Theatre meal - only a few minutes walk away! Really tastie and different flavours from other Italian meals I've had recently!

A good Italian restaurant, should be small, warm, and inviting. This little gem in Broughton Street has it all. Six to eight tables in two rooms, varied menu, with some real Italian knockout dishes, good seafood, a surprisingly good wine list and pleasant staff.

Maybe expected too much from this charming little restaurant. Really looks the part - quirky and interesting. The food was ok but not brilliant, the wine (Pinot Grigio) was poor quality and had a nasty after taste. Service was fine. The menu looked interesting and maybe our choices weren't good on the day. Will give them the benefit of the... More
