An excellent restaurant providing excellent food and the staff are helpful and welcoming. Would definately recommend visiting this restaurant but make sure you book a table, the dining area is very small but intimate and you wouldn't want to be disappointed. Reportedly the best pizza in town and I would tend to agree.

Fantastic meal just a short drive or walk from Edinburgh City centre. Used tripadvisor to decide where to eat. Not disappointed and would definitely recommend and go back there. Much better than chain Italian food even if choice is less.

Decided to give this little place a go after reading all the great reviews on trip advisor - it was a great little restaurant and did not disappoint - but then I was not expecting to have a Michelin style experience or the best pizza ever. I went expecting to have good food at a very reasonable price and thus... More

It is a cute, small nice itailan restaurant for a quick lunch/dinner. I think portions are considerably big (a small pizza would make you full). We ordered garlic bread with mozeralla and 3 small pizzas; milano, prosciutto and margherita. I liked garlic bread and milano the most. The only handicap is its place, it's not very central.

We found Origano through TripAdvisor and were delighted we gave it a try. We had booked for a Monday evening at 6pm for six and good job too because walk-ins were being turned away - it's a small restaurant which seats around 20. It's quite a walk from Dundas, where we were staying, and the outside appearance is a little... More

Arrived on Saturday evening without booking. So glad we managed to get a table. Had the platter to start which was wonderful, lots of salami, bread and very filling. Had pizza for main which was really nice, which was recommended by the waiter. Very small Italian, with a great relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place - had starter, main and... More

Don't believe the trip advisor hype. This place is very ordinary. The starters were actually really good but the pizza was extremely dull and uninspiring. Jolly on Elm Row is far superior. This place was quite cheap though. Wouldn't make the effort to return.

I've had takeaway from here a few times before but sitting in just ups the level. Simpley great food and service. It's only fault is that it's to busy.
