Visited this very cosy and chilled restaurant before theatre for daughters 18th birthday, very friendly and relaxed, food amazing!! I usually fussy about italian restaurants as I can cook italian food pretty good myself...but! I so impressed with quality, service and atmosphere I thought this place deserves recognition and I recommend to all who in area, keep doing what you... More

Visited on a Saturday afternoon and were met with a cosy little place with around or 8 tables. Opted for the veg/meat mixed antipasti platter for a starter. The small was plenty for two of us. I had the prosciutto pizza and added spicy sausage which was excellent. My wife wasn't so keen on her mushroom and gorgonzola pasta but... More

We were looking for a place to eat and found this restaurant on Tripadvisor. We've been there twice so far and will definitely return. We think this little restaurant is going to be our favourite - great atmosphere, very polite staff and the food is just excellent. First time we went there we had pizzas, which were just amazing, and... More

We dined here having read the trip advisor reviews and were not disappointed. Though small, it's cosy and had a lovely atmosphere. The staff Colin and Simon were very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and very generous especially the size of the pizza's! The wines selection was good and not too expensive. We had a lovely evening and... More

We weren't sure where to eat and we found this little gem on trip advisor. The waiter couldn't do enough for us to make our experience a good one. The food was so tasty and well priced! It is a small, cosy restaurant with really nice staff!

Very simple menu, but prepared and cooked brilliantly. Fresh produce and great atmosphere. Very reasonable priced, take a return taxi from the centre of Edinburgh and it still good value.

Simply amazing. Visited very recently with my girlfriend. Although a very small establishment, it is and feels extremely cosy, homely and warm. Food was simply fantastic! Starters: Garlic bread and bruschetta pepperonata. Both fantastic. My partner isn't the biggest fan of slightly crispy garlic bread...not to worry, I love it! Mains: Lasagne and tagliatelle funghi. Best Lasagne I can remember... More

2nd year running we've been here, whilst on our Xmas shopping weekend and better than the last! Do not be put off by size and outside as looks can be deceiving. Even the taxi driver said he,d never heard of it and been working 20 years there! Booked , due to trip adviser reviews and all I can say is... More

Have been coming to origano now for a year or so. Just another one of those secret little places everyone tries to discover. Don't just order a pizza, starters are excellent....garlic bread to die for as well as mixed platters are brilliant, and that before the pizza has even come. As for the pizza, well they just speak for themselves.... More
