An unhurried evening , reasonably priced and very tasty food - maybe not the prettiest of presentation. Excellent waiter service despite him seeming to be running the place on his own! Would go back.

The restaurant is small and badly in need of refurbishment but the food quality makes up for it. Like the waiter who served us, it was authentically French. Unfortunately, it is not open for dinners on weekdays; otherwise we would have returned.

The staff was okay, nothing great. The food (we ordered tartiflette) was poor, oily (never seen an oily tartiflette before! and my girlfriend had to absorbe it with paper!) and tasteless! I am french my self, used to go to restaurants and it is not even a normal quality food! Looks like using the french appellation and the lack of... More

Had a short break to Edinburgh and spotted this little Bistro when waiting for a bus opposite. What a delightful choice.Very French along with a French waiter and shabby chic interior. The food was excellent with a good choice of wine and plenty of bread. To top it all the meal for four including wine was £50.Would definitely recommend.

I'm french and I really enjoyed having a real french breakfast there. They also sell many products from France (they have very good cheese yum yum) and the staff is very nice and dedicated.

Situated on a street blighted by the seemingly endless tram installation, this little place is a bakery/restaurant which is well worth seeking out if you need a tasty meal at a very reasonable price - under £20.00 - set menu which includes a kir. I started with a stuffed mushroom which was nice and garlicy followed by confit of duck.... More

We stated at the start we wanted to be 30 mins. Took forever to take our order and bring food. Food was ok, but onions burnt in soup. Then they tried to overcharge us, took several attempts and being quite firm to sort out. Oh and it's cash only, with no warning we saw.

Perhaps they were having a bad day, but we were not impressed. we ordered the "Rich and tasty breakfast"' listed as "croissant, butter and jam, savoury pastry, fruit, fruit juice and tea/coffee". I had to pursue the coffee after we had taken out time over a single croissant and small glass of orange juice. The savoury pastry never made it... More

We came here twice: once for breakfast and once for lunch. French chocolate croissant, italian coffee plus orange juice have been our choice for breakfast, whereas we had french sandwich for lunch. Food is nice, the waiter was not so much careful..but the prices are fair.
