We are an independent family run and family friendly cafe and bakery. Freshly made is our hallmark....everything is made daily including soups, salads, quiches, pizza, bread and cakes. Uncompromising in our coffee beans supplied by Artisan Roast and our loose leaf teas from Pekoe Tea. We serve up one of the best breakfasts and all day Weekend brunches in town and are famed for our Eggs Benny. We feel that customers with food intolerances should not have to put up with bland choices and pride ourselves in creating interesting and tasty cakes, bread, soups etc. that can be enjoyed by vegans, vegetarians and coeliacs alike.

Dear Nonienabs, Thank you for leaving your review and comments. Without sounding rude, I really should ask what planet are you from? We are a city centre financial district café. Everything is made fresh and to order, we bake our own cakes downstairs and serve artisan coffee and loose leaf tea as it's meant to be. We are one of... More

We stopped at Stay City apartments for a weekend break and Loudons was just around the corner. We came for breakfast on the Saturday and were very impressed so came back again on the Sunday. Would highly recommend

I live just round the corner in the west end and I've been to loudons a number of times now. This is also the first and only time I've ever been compelled to write a restaurant review but with service this slow I feel I have to. I came in to order a bacon roll and a cup of tea... More

In with a friend and colleague for a quick post meeting lunch circa 1330 hrs. Shown to a table immediately. Menu quite limited but that is not a criticism. Chose the pulled Pork in a bun. Pulled Pork has been done to death of late but this was quite delicious/spicy. Accompanied by Rocket and 'Slaw. The former was beautifully dressed... More

An impromptu visit with friends as we passed the bakery led to a very enjoyable breakfast. Spacious and well decorated the restaurant is very modern and airy. We ordered quickly and waited. The service was on the slow side but the food was worth the wait. The Eggs Benedict was particularly well made with the freshness of the produce shining... More

My boyfriend and I were visiting Edinburgh for 4 days and chose to have breakfast at Loudons twice! We have ordered vegan & gluten free pancakes and Eggs Benedict = delicious! We couldn't get enough! Definitely worth trying! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, even though the cafe was busy on the Friday and Saturday morning. Prices were definitely... More
