Popped in for a couple of drinks and cakes, reasonably priced at £7 for the lot. Friendly and helpful staff, nicely decorated inside, clean toilets. Other food looked very tempting!

Stumbled on this palace near Holy Corner. Small but pleasant environment. Six of us had a mixture of cooked breakfasts, scones, breakfast rolls and coffee. All really good. Certainly one of the best cooked breakfasts that I have had, and reasonably good value. Got pretty busy, which is a good sign. Well done.

I have been a few times at different times. The staff are always friendly and their coffee is exquisite. Well worth a visit if you are in Edinburgh.

Went for breakfast, plenty to choose from food was good. Few things let it down. Not big enough people waiting for seat hover like vultures, check cutlery when it arrives last persons food still stuck in fork. Looks more like wiped with a cloth than washed and if you have pot tea the coster the teapot comes on are all... More

My dad and I were searching a while for some soup and ended up here. Very impressed! There were three options of soup available and we also had a focaccia. There are tonnes of options of sandwich fillers, and lots of suggestions which all sound very tasty! Will have to come back and try them! Very good value for money... More

A great array of options await in this gem at the top of Morningside Road. More sandwich options than anywhere I've been and every time I've been in, enjoyed it thoroughly. They do lots more than sandwiches though and passing salads look great too. I've yet to make it to cake-course but a good selection of non-gluten options blend with... More

Great wee cafe in a very nice area of Edinburgh. Nice food and friendly staff. Nearest train stop is Edinburgh Waverley and nearest bus routes 11, 15, 16, 5, 23, 36 and 45.

Roquet was very disappointing. Popped for a quick lunch. Service was charming but the food was very mediocre. Salad leaves were old and limp had seen better days (and there was no roquet!) the crispy bacon with my baked potato wasn't at all crispy. I wouldn't recommend it.

I eat in Rocket regularly as it is great, tasty food at a reasonable price. it's not pretentious and doesn't kid on that it is anything but a great wee cafe serving delicious food. I often wish it was a bit bigger but then it wouldn't be the same. the service can be slow but it is very busy with... More

Both myself and my boyfriend are students and really enjoyed our lunch and think it is a fair price and good to have student discount. My boyfriend really loved the Rocket Club! Always enjoyed the food. One of the girls was really friendly, however the other who served us initially was a little off. It wouldn't put us off though... More
