We had an early evening meal at the Indian cavalry club before flying out of Edinburgh airport. The dosa and sea food soup starters were particularly good and beautiful presented and our main courses were very enjoyable. The waiters are exceptional they are polite and very attentive to your needs. We definitely recommend this restaurant and back soon.😊😊

Wonder whether anything at all was Indian about this place.2010 summer left Me with irreparable bad memories of tasteless unindian food, hostile waiters and bad ambience of this place probably managed by some bangladeshi hosts trying to sell brand india food as a non desi person would not recognise the wide gap from taste to hospitality. Overall not recommended. Thumbs... More

When going in, we thought we would be paying extra for meal, but we were wrong! Excellent food, nice service in a nicely decorated building. For a reasonable price! The staff were attentive and chicken with karahi sauce(curry) was great. Will visit again. Well done!

Visited Edinburgh with some friends and decided to have an early dinner at the Calvary Club. We are all big Indian food fans and thought that this would be perfect for us - something that we could all enjoy. The food was ok - not the best curry I have had but okay. The portions weren't that big and and... More

We're big curry fans and were SO impressed today with our lunch at this long standing Edinburgh institution. £8.95 for starter, main course and coffee is great value. Despite the price, quality was not compromised: The Pakora and Samosas were crisp and tasty, the chicken and lamb Karahi were delicious: The meat melted in the mouth and the sauce was... More

Visited for their lunchtime £8.95 business lunch with some colleagues - got there about 12:50 and was told they closed at 2pm. Fair enough except they were pretty slow in bringing out the food, especially the main course - probably the reason why we weren't offered any coffee which was supposed to be included. Main course portion was pretty small... More
